I'm sure you knew that getting breast implants was going to cause of sometimes nasty controversy. Again you did what's right for you. I wish you all the best with your new boobs.

BTW what shaped implants are you getting? Half spherical or tear drop?

I'll be sure to think about you and wish that your doctor, no matter how brilliant, doesn't have a bad day. ANY surgery can be very bad news. I know I have a total hip implant. It came out fine but I was still on the table for nearly 6 hours.

Seems I was wrong.

In November 2006, Allergan and Mentor received approval for their silicone gel-filled breast implants. These implants were approved for breast augmentation in women 22 years or older and for breast reconstruction in women of any age.

downside on getting the breasts trough the armpit is that you can only do it once. since the sillicones need to be replaced every 10 or so years, its not such a good option, and i wish i done them trough the nipple to!
But that will be after the summer, as my 10 years ran out...

Your information is old. Silicone was approved by the FDA this year so there are no restrictions anymore.

If you don't do it, many of us won't be diappointed. I really don't think you need one. But you do what you feel you gotta do babe.
