Did she ever do an IR scene?

Funny you ask this because I only watched Kay Parker in Lorelei (1985) in the past two weeks where she's in a threesome scene with Billy Dee. So yes is the answer to your question.
According to IAFD she also performed with Billy in Memphis Cathouse Blues (1982).

How is that IR when Billy Dee isn't black? In the porn industry, IR means black men with non-black women. Why do you think that Billy Dee performed with so many women who refused to work with blacks?

^you can argue what constitutes a real black man if you want to but pick a different thread. IAFD has Billy tagged as a black man and that's good enough for me because the only thing I'm certain of is that he wasn't Caucasin.

^No, you're not certain. First of all, MANY African-Americans have a partial Caucasian background which is one of the reasons why they have such diverse physical appearances.
Based off Billy's IAFD photo, he definitely looks like he is partially Caucasian.

^Yes, I'm sure but that's my opinion and in no way should it be considered the be all and end all of things. You don't have to agree with me. I don't know how many movies you saw of Billy but I saw at least 100 movies and although I may not be certain of his real ethnic background. I never thought that caucasin was one of them. I actually thought he might be hispanic.

Right. IAFD has tagged him black and I've heard many pornstars (male and female) talk about him and they consider him black and I'd bet that he'd consider himself at the very least part black as well. No, he wasn't 100% African American but who is these days anyway? Most people are mixed. Kay Parker considered him black and mentions it in an interview.

This further proves you have no clue what you're talking about. One can be Hispanic and Caucasian.
I'm not arguing that he's not black. It just annoys me when people say African-Americans aren't Caucasian when in fact many of them actually are on a partial level. It drives me nuts when people say Obama is black without acknowledging the fact that he came out of a Caucasian vagina.

Hmmm, get into a discussion in this thread as to whether Billy Dee is black or not? Nope! Get into a discussion in this thread as to why Billy performed with women who refused to work with black people? Nope! The information given was for the OP and thread related, I don't do frivolous.

It's you same people who are calling him Black.Just read any Yahoo News article on Obama. Then scoll down to the comment section and see how many people who don't like the fact that he's President call him Black this or Black that. You want to get annoyed, get annoyed at the racists.Just wondering do you get annoyed when people don't acknowledge Tiger Woods mix side?

The scene in Lorelei is easily the better of the two and one of my fav Kay Parker scenes. I have a compilation from ALPHA BLUE movies where Kay mentions she really liked working with Billy Dee. I'm surprised she didn't work with him more but I suppose the opportunity didn't come. I wish Kay had done more movies back then and I really wish more of the ones she did make were available on DVD today.

^It's not that unusual that she didn't get to work with him more often when you consider the number of movies that were done in those days and also the small number of movies that Kay filmed in her career. It's performers like Kay that make me miss those early days of porn.

^ As I've stated in other threads, I miss Kay Parker...The early days of porn...not so much. The above mentioned scene with Kay and Billy Dee in MCHB was so dark you could hardly tell it was him. That sort of thing wouldn't have happened in more modern porn where the emphasis is seeing the sex. I don't mind that she didn't make that many movies compared to the girls today but I am kinda annoyed that the movies she did do have scenes that are so short or just shot not showing much actual sex.

^I think short sex scenes is a reality for most of thew porn made back then but that's because the sex was only a small part of the overall movie. Although I find many things about todays porn to be very good. Long sex scenes without an actual scenario is not one of them. Give me a nice simple scenario with 2 performers playing a part who look like they actually want to have sex with each other and where there is foreplay before the penetration and I'd be quite happy.
I'm not sure if the movies made back then were as dark as they appear today. I think that the conversion from film to video was improperly done and that's why they look darker than they should.

There's plenty of that in porn today...or at least what I consider plenty.
Nope. That's not it. The rest of the movie looks fine. I'm guessing there's a reason they shot it so dark and it might be part of the story but I never paid that much attention to the story find out. But regardless of if it were part of the story or not it was too dark to enjoy the scene. But that's the type of stuff you get with 70s porn movies. I think the directors thought the story they were telling was much more important than the sex and often times the sex seemed to be the annoying thing they were forced to deal with. I think that's the main reason the sex scenes were so short and they did the very annoying practice of cutting back and forth between two sex scenes at once. Doing that hurt both sex scenes but got the sex out of the way so they could get back to their story. That's why I prefer the later eras of porn when the sex was the most important element of the movie.

^The reason the sex scenes were short was because shooting on 35mm film is and always was very expensive so doing a two hour movie with half that time reserved for the sex would probably have made those films unprofitable. If your absolutely in love with todays gonzo style porn then there's a pretty good chance that 70's and 80's porn won't be your cup of tea anyway.

I understand that they couldn't do do 2 hour movies back then. I keep talking about the length of the sex scenes but my main complaint of some of the stuff back then wasn't so much about the time spent on the scene as much as how little they actually showed during the sex and how it was shot. A short sex scene wouldn't be so bad if they shot it better and showed more pentration, better angles, and less cutting away to long facial expressions, cutaways to other scenes, and such. I totally understand most of what they were trying to do back then but I just feel the sex scenes didn't get the attention they deserved in some of those movies. I'm convinced that some of those directors felt the sex scenes were something they had to put up with to be able to make their movies because of the execution of them.
I like today's gonzo but I also like some feature stuff, the 90s stuff, the 80s stuff, and even some of the 70s stuff. I don't think all the 70s stuff was bad. I buy the retro 70s stuff from ALPHA BLUE and SOMETHING WIERD VIDEO all the time. I like some of the pornstars from that era so I buy those movies. I even like the non-pornstars from that era like USCHI DIGARD, RENE BOND, KITTEN NATIVIDAD, DYANNE THORNE, etc...
I just personally think that porn generally didn't start getting it right in terms of how to shoot sex scenes and how long to make them until the 80s. I think that happened because the during the 80s the focus switched from story more to the sex and directors/studios finally accepted they were making sex movies instead of "real" movies with some sex in them. I the exploitation movies of the 70s accepted that more than some of the porn movies of the 70s did.
Anyway, I just wish Kay Parker did more films back then and even some loops because I liked watching those over some of the movies of that time. I'm a big fan of Kay Parker, Sue Nero, Candida Royalle and a few others of that era and wish the porn of that era had given us more of them.
BTW, I'm not saying what you like or others like is wrong, just expressing my take on the matter.

^I think the reason why the sex scenes started getting longer in the 80's is because of video. Not filming on it but being able to release it on VHS and later on Beta. The number of adult theaters back then was significantly bigger than today but that didn't guarantee that a porn movie would make money. That all changed with the arrival of VHS. You could have your run in theaters if you wanted to and then you could release it on VHS where you made real money.
