It seems to me that the bulk of porn available centers on nudity. "Duh" you may be thinking, but to me skin is skin and boobs are boobs. After all, they say that clothes make the man, why not the woman. My point is this: Why are porn studios so hurried to get T&A on screen? All around me I see boxcovers and pictorials where a woman is drop dead gorgeous in a really tight, well fitting, and flattering outfit. But the outfit hardly ever gets any attention. My chosen example here would be Chasey Lain. When I first saw her on a Vivid boxcover I was totally blown away, but when I saw the film I was totally turned off by her fake boobs, etc. The outfit on the cover wasn't even in the film. It was probably just a promo photo shoot, and by viewing other boxcovers I think that Vivid probably does this a lot. Am I the only one who thinks that a woman looks better, sexier, and much more attractive with her clothes ON than with them off? Once you have seen a star with her clothes off there really isn't much overall difference visually between one scene and the next except for: A)other stars in the scene, B)the setting, and C)their clothing. I'm not saying that I don't like nudity by any means, but why not leave the clothes on and keep it interesting for a while. Please Comment...  [Link] |

It returned 8 pages of topics, 3 pages in the General Porn Talk, and about 2 pages in the World News & Nonsense. Okay, a lot of them are not on the topic of what you are asking, but a hell of a lot of them fell into the LMAO category. It has been talked about in many threads, in many different ways. If they are so important I am wondering WHY it isn't given more attention. What makes a director choose total nudity during a scene vs. clothed? Money spent on costumes? Time spent on fittings? I feel that there is probably some reason, or maybe not. Is the cost more than the reward? To me I would say that it isn't, but I'm not a pro (and I'm not trying to tell someone how to do their job, either). I agree with what has been said thus far, and I certainly prefer much of Euro porn to State-side porn. The question I'm trying to stress here is the "WHY?" Are there any familiar with the creative processes in the industry that wish to help us out? I hope that I've made my questions a little clearer and you can see where I'm trying to go with this. One reason why I'm going off Private (esp. Adamo and Kovi) is that they cut out the clothing removal and position change footage. All that's left is sequences of pumping bodies in fixed positions. Although I am really a fan of Redlight District it is currently Jules Jordan who caters best to my needs. Female clothing can do so much to emphasize the highpoints of the body of a woman. There are bras that are just to sexy to be removed too soon and the same is true for (transparent) tops and panties.
