Since you ASK me, I will give you an honest answer, even if it upsets you or you despise me for it. I am cloven towards porn; I both like it and don't like it. It is a Drug. And I am pretty much stuck. It fills me with both desire and regret. With regret because it takes time and energy that could have been used for something more fruitful. With bad conscience for watching it, since I realize that I pay for some peoples suffering (even if there are girls, like you and Melissa say, that enjoy what they're doing, I am sure there is also much tragic cases behind the scenes. They may enjoy being fucked, but I doubt if many are happy individuals). For me it is a compensation. Without getting too personal, lets just say that I grew up under disturbed alchoholic and suicidal conditions, and sexual represson, and have had big difficulties relating to women. I am afraid of closeness and intimacy. Not that I haven't been offered chances from girls, but I am just an emotional mess. It's difficult to heal. So I stay alone.
Porn, like any other drug, wears off and I need a stronger dose for the same effect. I don't really enjoy watching rough sex (slapping, pulling hair, etc.). And I don't enjoy watching ass fucking. Gross. But I do enjoy deepthroating. To some extent I watch rougher blowjob films; that's the way the films are being made today. But at the same time they are a little scary, and I don't enjoy when there is violent or slapping tendencies. I think watching deepthroating soothes some of the desperate feeling of not beeing able to get close to girls.
I don't question you right to participate in porn. I just wonder. In my eyes I see girls, having been sexually abused as kids by their fathers or others, or having been abandoned physically or emotionally; and they get into porn to compensate in a desperate way for the loss. But perhaps some people are just incredibly sexually active, and perfectly healthy with that. And don't mind fucking with a men they don't know, men they may not be especially attracted to, and not even like as a person when they get to know him. I don't know.

fredrikka - I'm sorry to hear that you had a difficult upbringing, but it seems to me that you are the one who has issues with porn simply because you have issues with yourself (as you commented).

Thank you. That single sentence is quite important.
I sense it intuitively, but don't really know how to put it clearly.
It helps me to refocus on myself (and take charge of my own life). Instead of as always outside of me. Whether my observations about porn had some objective truth in them, or were more projections of my own issues, doesn't really matter. They are really not my concern anyway. In the end it's still all about my projections. A waste of energy.
