If you check out Jeff's site it says he's still taking preorders for it. They are on the mark as to content and activity. What they too often neglect are lapses of production quality and/or sexual intensity. However, the site is still an important tool in my quest for great gay porn. Based on the many videos reviewed on mannet.com which I have seen, those garnering a double-highly are always exceptional in some way. Those videos rating a single-highly are almost always worth a rental and often worthy of purchase. Those which are only recommended - no highly at all - are generally worth renting only if they happen to include a favorite star (or pairing) or are by a favorite director or their plot/theme is of particular interest - decision to purchase to be made only after the rental. It's all a matter of scale. The lesser superlative is still a superlative, however lesser it may be. BTW, thanks for a great site, Mr Harris; and welcome to ADT. ~ GaySatyr [Link] |

BUT, the rating system is a little bit weird. I think you will find that a number of people only skim long reviews (or don't even read them at all) and just pay attention to the final rating. I'm guilty of this myself alot when reading your site. If I see something rated as only "Recommended", I cross it right off my list of porn to buy, since porn is to too expensive to waste money on if it's only 1 step up from "Not Recommended At all". I don't know if this was your intent, but this is how I visually see your ratings: In my world, 3 star movies are almost never worth buying, unless there's someone in particular in there that you are dieing to see.
