Hi, I'm a big Ken Ryker fan from London, England. I love all his gay work, but particularly his bisexual movies. Boy, there is nothing hotter than seeing that Ryker dick getting serviced by a guy and a girl at the same time!
I've seen that he's just made a straight movie for VIVID, called 'Taya's Tales' (directed by Chi Chi LaRue). Has anybody seen it or know where I can read a review?
I'm just waiting to see Ryker in a movie where he takes a guy and a girl up the ass!
I'm a Ryker fan, too. He is one of the few "trade" gay stars who seem to respect their gay audience; however, I doubt we will ever see him in an anal passive role.
Sorry, but I've not seen Taya's Tales - his new straight Vivid video. I don't think that it has been released yet (at least, I can't find it).
I'm glad I'm not the only one who worships Mr Ryker! It is so hard to get any of his videos over here in the UK - none have been released officially. It's such a pain!
Just seen another LaRue production called "Woman under Glass" with Savanna Samson that credits Ken Ryker. It's listed in www.risquevideo.com but I cant see him on the backcover.
Love...exciting and new Come aboard...we're expecting yooooou
Yes, by all accounts, Ryker has completed 3 new straight movies for VIVID, all directed by his friend Chi Chi Larue. They are: 'Taya's Tales', 'Woman Under Glass' and 'Deep Inside Nicole Sheridan'.
He's going for the 'straight image' big time it seems.
I really want to see some reviews of these movies and find out if how he 'performs', so to speak. If he does make straight porn his career from now on I just hope he fucks some girl up the ass - that I'd pay good money to see!
It's definitely time straight production companies employed bisexual & gay-for-pay male performers. I watch primarily straight videos and it's definitely in need of diversity. It always the same 10 performers movie after movie. Yes, Erik, Lee or Ben are all gorgeous but it's getting tiresome. I don't see any reason why former boy/boy performers should be veto-ed from straight prods, I'm sure 90% of the audience wouldn't notice anyway. It's still all about that aids stigma, right. If he's done boy/boy, he must be hiv-positive. That's so dated and stupid. I've read recently on www.adultfyi.com a story about a girl refusing to shoot a scene with a former b/b performer on a Jill Kelly set. I think the guy is TT Boy's bro (Lex Baldwin?). Well producer Jill threw the girl off the set for her wrong attitude. That's the way to go!

I totally agree. I say spread the male performers over gay/bi/straight films a bit more. It's an ideal, but I doubt we'll see it happen. Much as I like a beautiful, well-hung man like Ryker doing porno of all kinds I doubt very much we'll ever see the gorgeous Billy Glide fucking man pussy any time soon. More's the pity!
Ken is supposed to be a knight and she is a princess in the segment of the video about fairy tales. Kind of dumb premise, but good scene with Ken. Did you ever visit my old yahoo group the Ryker Files? I've had to start over since they don't archive photos anymore. sky

The superstar is on top again as he returns with two new features-and the attention of the porn world.
On a Wednesday afternoon, Ken Ryker has somehow found the time to relax-albeit briefly-amid the whirlwind of a year he has had. How does the 6-4 stud unwind? "I'm just sitting here watching Home Improvement," he says with a brief laugh. No offense to Tim Allen, but Ryker's legions of fans will be busy watching something else. The recently released Ryker's Web has already generated much buzz and is poised to place Ken Ryker atop the gay porn world once again. The follow up, Ryker's Ranch, is already in the works with a likely release in early 2004. "I think it's pretty cool," says Ryker of the past year-and-a-half, which started with his induction into the GAYVN Hall of Fame. "I didn't expect this year to be nearly as difficult or as long as it's been, but I look back and I'm happy. I know I got a lot of stuff accomplished. And I've learned that I'm capable of more than I thought I was." That's because both movies are produced by his new production company, Ken Ryker Films (with distribution by Arena Entertainment). "I hadn't done a gay feature in a long time, and I thought I may as well produce my own so I could do it the way I thought it should be done," Ryker says. "It's definitely more pressure, but it was really exciting just doing everything exactly the way I wanted to. It was a lot more work than I thought it would be." Virtually all of Ryker's features have been instant hits, from Big River to The Backroom (which earned him 1995 GAYVN Awards for Best Newcomer and Best Actor), from The Ryker Files to The Renegade. Ryker's Web is his first gay feature since Ryker's Revenge in 1999. Outside of some bi films, it is only the ninth full-length feature of his career, which started with The New Pledgemaster in 1994. Over a ten-year period, Ryker has strategically paced his features to keep fan interest at a peak. Of his enduring popularity, he says, "I think it just sort of happened that way. Kind of blind luck. I didn't go in, hit the deep end and do a hundred scenes, so it left me a few options. I had a chance to learn about the industry. I kind of learned how to market myself a little bit better. Of all the things I've dabbled in, this has been what I've been the most successful at. That in itself just makes we want to keep trying to be more successful, and make the most of the opportunities I have." Now with a decade of experience under his belt, he is entering a brand new area: behind-the-camera. "With Ryker's Web, I pretty much wrote a script, a basic theme, and we went along with that," he says, adding it was his first stab at writing. Hiring a director instead of tackling that job as a first-timer also helped ease the pressure Ryker faced with the new responsibility of being in charge of the money-not just the money-shot. "When I first started on this project, I wasn't nervous at all. I was really excited, happy to get all the financing ready to go," Ryker says. "And then I started trying to put things together, and that's when I started having the conflicts, the difficulties with models. Trying to deal with twenty people over a week's period of time... you're going to have some mistakes." Ryker takes part in three of the film's five scenes: a dark, leather-clad threesome at the Gauntlet, a bar in Hollywood; a "more passionate, boyfriend-type scene" with Trent Atkins; and one with Drew Larson. He has also been busy with his website (www.KenRyker.com) which allows premium members to enter a win-a-date-with-Ken contest (it also allowed them to enter for a chance to appear in Ryker's Ranch). He has a "rough idea" of releasing two quality films a year and, as time goes on, possibly placing the emphasis less on him and more on newer stars (insert the horrified screams of rabid Ryker-fans here). "It is difficult, especially with so much great product out there: new faces, guys with incredible bodies," he says. "For me, one of the things is going off my fan base and keeping the models in my films really high-quality, and giving good performances." For Ryker and the rest of the world, there is little doubt he will succeed.
