Not only am I rabbiting on aimlessly about a odd and only loosely ADT orientated subject. But then I would be totally 'thread-jacking' if thats what it's called right? So yeah, here I go. My very first topic that I started on ADT and I really don't know what is wrong with me but I'm fucking nervous! lol! I hope its readable and well ok I know it's stupid long but I have just gone through and tried to checked my spelling at least. So please be easy... Thing is and I know this sounds egotistical but I just couldn't stand to see someone else do it and to not use the right people. Or more specifically, use somebody who couldn't play my part as good as I could!!? lol! I've even been going over the scenes and sketches of the film in my head and how I would do it... The other thing is this... my buddy, he's a performer as well. Well we were both watching the original movie and both kinda came up with the idea at the same time... like, coool we could do such a cool porn version of that!! But I feel kinda cold if I let it all go without him? Even though neither of us have actually pulled our fingers out and done anything about it... er for over 2 years! lol! Tsk! moral dilemma's.... My part could only really be played by me... I think brutally honestly there are a few other good candidates for his... But then I wouldn't feel right about that? The girls... well for the girls we are kinda split on who we think could be good in it... (more recently I dreamt that Stoya could make a great ambassadors daughter) I feel like this is all too much of a tease for me? Like its already seeping out my mouth? No! I'm gonna hold tight on the rad title at least... right? Lol I just read this ridiculous monologue back to myself and thought wtf am I saying!? If I did actually hit the post reply button then all my newly made ADT buddies are really gonna think I'm completely nuts!! Ok. So. I'm skirting around it, would I really honestly find someone interested enough in developing and directing the idea through here?? I believe that I could and that's the problem. It would need a massive budget to do it right though. I'm talking about on a pirates level, well without the sfx though. And the original movie(s) are already blockbusters mainstream and really this version should at least live up to the production standards of a big screen movie. Loads of scope to be huge earner for whichever production house and director did it I reckon, especially as it's a trilogy. Is anyone else actually excited, captivated or barely interested in this or is it just one of my many distant dreams? Well I guess I wouldn't feel so bad if someone actually guessed what it was a remake of? Then it's almost like, hey you thought that too huh!? and I didn't just fuck it all up single handedly! Ok so big clue and question is this... Has anyone actually EVER seen a chick get plugged by a BLACK DUDE "AND" a ASIAN DUDE!?? I'm talking about double penetration, ok I know, not really a big deal to non interracial lovers but hey I honestly don't think that that has been seen before in porn. Remakes or spoofs of anything are never real popular, on the other hand, no idea is original. Somebody thought of it before you did, and I'm totally not knocking you at all. So somebody already made the XXX version and you just want it to be I/R? Or this is a mainstream film that you think would make a good porn with I/R? I'm just trying to pick your brain. Is there any way to alter the original to make it YOUR original? If the "original" has already been made would you mind telling us what film you would like to base yours on? I'm here in europe still on vegas time and a total insomniac/bloggerholic/twilight internet porn addict. I just have ot admit it... I'm as lost as can be! Dont save me. The IR sex act is just a fortunate extra thing to the movie that just happens to be something never seen before. A white girl, or any girl being dp'd or dap'd by both a black and a asian cock is unprecedented isn't it? Yes it is a remake/spoof so your right it is not totally original but it is not of a porn film it is actually of a mainstream film/trilogy. Although the characters and storyline can mimic or follow the original film, I still think that people would like to watch it if it was done well. There are loads of variations of the original plot that could be taken without 'copying' the mainstream version. And the main characters would be instantly recognizable. Are remakes not very successful? I'm just going off the success of Pirates for example. In mainstream action films, they blow up 20 cars in the background of the car chase that ends the first act, and no one thinks twice about it. It's simple economics; big stunts like that cost more to do than the entire budgets of most big porn movies. Kylie & I were talking with a well-know mainstream stunt coordinator this weekend, and he agreed that the entire budget from Upload would just about cover one minor gag in a big movie. It's also worth mentioning that there's no market for low-rent action films anymore. That died in the 80s. Now you're competing with each new bond film and every Michael Bay retardostravaganza whether you like it or not. That's why low-budget mainstream is all horror these days. That you can do on the cheap, but blow shit up? No way. I'm not trying to drop a Baby Ruth in your swimming pool; these are just things you have to accept. As for Flash's director suggestions, I'll keep my snide DP comments to myself and just say that this doesn't sound like their kind of project. For that matter, it doesn't really sound like something I'd be interested in either, though I'd have to have more detail to be sure. Wicked maybe, but they rarely do big movies that are driven by male characters (except Brad's stuff). You would have to get a director behind it to make it happen there, though, otherwise projects just languish for eternity on Steve Orensetein's floor waiting to be read. I don't believe Ethan Kane is working with Adam & Eve anymore, and I think Nic Andrews is still mostly retired, which is a shame 'cause this really sounds like his kind of project. I don't know anything about Jack Hemingway, so I can't comment.Definitely. You should also register the script with the Writers Guild. You don't have to be a WGA member, and it's really easy. Just go to wga.org for instructions. Still, be ready for the notion that ideas tend to work in waves; it's a function of social zeitgeist that concepts seem to pop up among different people all at once. That's how you get two movies about volcanoes or asteroids or Robin Hood or the White Sox scandal all in the same year. No one is stealing from anyone; the ideas just seem to hit at roughly the same time. It happens constantly in mainstream. Also be ready for the fact that you are going to be relinquishing control of this idea at some point, well before you can be sure of getting paid for it, and if someone does want to steal it, there's really very little you can do about it. Frustrating, but true. And lastly...Race doesn't really register with me much, so I kind of don't get why this is a big deal... all I care about is a really good d.p. That being said, I can't think of any male Asian performers, at least in this country. I often tease Asian girls who don't do interracial that they must not work much because I've never encountered local Asian male talent. Not really sure if that's any kind of protection seeing as it's only really an idea and hey, I guess anyone can have that idea like you said. I know I can't stop anyone else doing something if they think of it and I realize that as I don't actually have the money, director or anything right now that if someone did think of what I wanted to do and create it then wow, more power to them and actually I'd be pleased as at least it would be making more progress than I was. So then finally I thought, hey why not be completely transparent about the whole thing anyway, I am not loosing anything from it and if anything I may even gain something by perhaps somebody thinking it actually is a good idea and considering developing it. If I'm lucky then they might even ask me what some of my ideas about the project were and if I am even luckier I might even get to star in the role that I wished about in the first place? So yeah... no real drum roll required I don't think? My idea was only to make a spoof of the Rush Hour trilogy. I think that there are so many cool plots and possibilities with this project and I wont give away the name I had for t and other bits of my own creativity but yeah, thats at least the movie I was working my ideas around. The marketability of a good version of this I think would be awesome, well I think so anyway. I think it would have an appeal to the normal porn consumer if it starred the right girls and had good quality scenes. As well as the main audience, I know for a fact there is a whole army of lost asian american guys who are desperately seeking a positive representation of their ethnicity in porn, so those guys would be interested in it too as I would hope the jackie chan role would answer that for them. And finally I think that the possibilities and combinations of black/white/asian performers in sex scenes is just exciting to any viewer, not just the interracial fan. I personally, certainly haven't seen anything like that before. Yes, although I agree it is not the main appeal of any feature movie, I think that if it was done well and with great girls of course that it could be a cool movie to see. Well anyways, thats it.
