Does any one know if there is any difference between the NC17 and unrated version of the softcore "Key To Sex"?
For those who have not heard about Key To Sex, the movie is a very hot softcore movie with hotties like Maria Ford, Monique Parent and Sara St.James. I heard in some scenes, you can even see the vagina of these hotties.
For the differences b/w the R rated version & the unrated, this review of The Key To Sex should help you. By the way, I've been hesitating to buy this movie for a long time. My point of concern is : is there male nudity (backside ?) and are the male performers good-looking ? I know you're not gay but surely you can help me...
Love...exciting and new Come aboard...we're expecting yooooou
The NC17 version I mentioned is from the Barnes and Noble site. The problem with these sites is that they have different versions for different films (wish they sell all unrated, makes me wonder who would want rated softcore) and it does not make economical sense to order unrated films from different sites since each order will have a base shipping charge. Ideally, I want to order from one site, pay the base charge and the additional charge on the number of DVDs I ordered.
By the way, thanks for writing those wonderful reviews and screenshots, particularly on those plot-based and feature films. It does help me to decide to get the movie like if there are things (DP, anal, groups, lesbians, toys etc) I don't like to watch, I will not get the movie. It would be nice though to have at least one screenshot for one scene.
Thanks for the link to the review of Key To Sex. I have not seen this movie too but am thinking of buying. According to the review, the movie has full explicit female nudity (wow!) and male nudity showing buns (backside?). I won't be able to comment on the male performers since I've not seen the movie but I don't imagine the male performers to be ugly. Yes, I am not gay and I am more concerned with female nudity than others.
Based on what I read, yes, I think you can expect buns. There is this other site that has the following comments:
"This man's ass is incredible! Bubble butt is an unworthy term to descibe those cheeks. His thrusting into Maria is a sight to behold. I really love the scene when Monique pulls down his boxers and the backside teasing us throughout the movie is revealed."

This is probably one of the best softcore around and I am looking forward to watch Maria Ford, Monique Parent and Sara St.James. If you are still hesitating, no, don't, go get it.
It appears that the NC-17 version that you see at Barnes and Noble and the Unrated version are the same, but I can't be 100% certain.
The Unrated version is distributed by Image Entertainment who handled DVD distribution for Playboy back when DVD's came out. The NC-17 version you saw at Barnes and Noble is listed as Playboy, who are now producing their own discs now I believe. Although the cover they show appears to actually be the Image cover. The review posted by Vodka Tonic says that it is for the Playboy version (although it links to the Image version at DVD Empire). My guess is that both of these are the same disc. You could always e-mail Image and Playboy to find out for sure.
Thanks. There are screen shots from the scenes usually in the review. I just don't put hardcore shots, which is much harder to select a nice screen from a scene without penetration of any sort. I try to observe the same specs that Steph wishes for images in the forums (although some do include female and male genitalia) for images in my reviews since I put them directly in the review and not in an image gallery. I think I've messed up a couple times included some hardcore images, but those were errors not intentional.
