Hi there,

I was wondering if someone could help me with my kickback account. I have placed quite a few orders with AdultDVDToday. I just love this store for their efficiency, friendliness, good price and speed of delivery, by the way.

The first credit was received only 4 days after the order
7/13/2003. Since then I have ordered on the following dates:

8/7/2003
9/27/2003
10/18/2003
10/26/2003

Next order will go out tomorrow. The last orders are still showing to be in process although I have long since received the goods.

Therefore I am still waiting for credits amounting to more than 34 dollars. I have send an email to kickback but have received no answer.

Any ideas what I could do? Many thanks.

Greetings from Germany.

From the Kickback FAQ:

"Q: When will I see a credit in my account for my order?
A: Adult DVD Talk earns a commission on the orders you place through the Kickback program. We will issue credit to your account when we receive our commission payment from the participating retailer. Some retailers pay commissions monthly, others are on a quarterly schedule. It may take up to four months for a credit you appear in your account."

"Q: I placed an order a week ago and have already received my order from the retailer yet my Kickback order status still says "in-process". Why is it still "in-process"?
A: The order status we list is the status of your kickback credit. Your order is still considered in-process until we receive payment from the retailer and post a credit to your account. "

I've been away from the computer for the past two days and didn't see this until now.

I think there might be a problem with the affiliate reporting from Adult DVD Today. I don't show any Kickback orders placed since 10/1. And prior to 10/1 I don't show any Kickback orders.

Hi Drew,

thanks for the explanation. So I should I take this up with either AdultDVDToday.com or Kickback. As far as I know from the FAQ only Kickback would be able to help me and I am not supposed to contact the merchant directly. Unfortunately I do not get an answer to my email from Kickback.

Any suggestions? Thanks very much for your help.

Drew is Kickback. His point was that he didn't see your e-mail because he has been away from his computer. Since you posted your problem publicly, he answered you publicly rather than replying by e-mail.

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. I've been building a garage recently and haven't been spenging any time at the computer.

I wrote to the folks at Adult DVD Today. Everything has been cleared up with the Kickback order reporting and I will be issueing credits for any open orders within the next few days.

Drew,

thanks a lot for your help. Greg of AdultDVDToday.com has also confirmed to me that everything has been taken care of already.

Good to see that the system and the forum work. Have fun with the garage. ;-)

Sometimes it works and sometimes not. I have a long time completed order with Fivestar from 3/7/2003. I mailed Drew several times, but it's always stated as 'Order in Process'?

Could you elaborate on what doesn't work?

Drew, I discovered that "combined" orders at ADE come through as cancelled orders with the KickBack program. Although, considering the complexity involved, I doubt that there is any simple way to rectify this particular problem other than to admonish against it.

It came about because I placed multiple orders to take best advantage of the limited coupons ADE issues - you know: juggle titles such that each order just barely meets a specific coupon criteria. Then I combined the several orders into one (the coupon discounts "travel") rather than trying to keep track of the multiple orders. The KickBack evaporated.

I only did this once - I learned my lesson quickly.

Could you write to me about this because I'm not sure I understand what a "combined" order is or what the process would be for combining them.
