I have recently tried to redeem some on my kickbacks, but have not received any gift certificates from the vendor despite getting an email saying it had been received an a certificate was on its way. i have sent message querying the delay but received no responses. has anyone else recently had problems redeeming their kickbacks?

Not recently. I had some problems getting them from 5 Star a little while ago, but it turned out my spam filter was catching them and weeding them out. For some reason, my spam filter really hates 5 Star and weeds out most of what they send (which can really suck since they normally respond right away!!!). If you're using 5 Star, that'd be my guess.

If you're using ADE, they normally send them out in bulk at the start of their day (IIRC). They process them, put it in to be paid out at the start of their day, and then send you the confirmation. I can't remember if they ship them out on the weekend or not, but IIRC I had one confirmation come back from them on a Friday afternoon and I didn't get the GC until Monday morning for this reason.

Hope that helped!

Hotmail has been really aggressive in filtering emails it considers to be spam.

Here is a tip. I use a free disposable email service called e4ward.com e4ward.com. It works perfectly and protects your real email address.

This is how it works, you create an account on e4ward.com say yourname.e4ward.com. Then you create an address say 5star@yourname.e4ward.com. You give this email address to 5star and all email is forwarded to your real email address. Do the same for Amazon etc.
