On 20th November I requested a $50 Kickback redemption for Adult DVD Empire. Over two weeks later I have still not received a gift certificate number from them, nor have I received a reply to either of the emails that I sent to kickback@adultdvdtalk.com on 28th November and 1st December.

I am surprised and disappointed at the poor customer service that I have received, and I would appreciate it if someone look into this matter for me. Thanks.

I'll look into it for you.

The kickback@adultdvdtalk.com email box is shared with the admin@adultdvdtalk.com email address and they both have been really hammered by spam lately. (to the tune of 2,000 - 3,000 messages per day.)

Can you forward your email to drew@adultdvdtalk.com so I have the details?

As you can tell, I issued a refund for the redemption request. I was able to figure out who you were just from the info in your post. (There was only one $50 request on that day with DVD Empire.)

ADE has been really slow on redeeming them lately. The last ones they redeemed for me took over two weeks. I'm hoping that the next ones don't take as long, but they have been a bit hit or miss with them.

I'm going to figure out something with the contact mechanism for customer service issues. I think we'll switch to a web-based form instead of a public email address. That way I'll be able to track open/closed issues and not have to sort through tons of garbage in the process.

Looks like someone got lucky and got results ? I've been waiting for over 3 months for a credit(little over $2 so I can use all my credits I've accumulated) and no one will respond to me at Kick back regarding my emails. Does anyone have any suggestions ? I have no complaints for years but not responding to someone and when they do they don't follow up on what they say is poor and dissappointing to say the least.

The only email I have from you is today, 4/6/2007 sent to drew@adultdvdtalk.com from your Yahoo address. Previously you had emailed from your Verizon email address.

You placed your order on December 17th and wrote to me that day indicating that the order did not immediately appear in your Kickback profile. I indicated in my reply that could be caused by a number of temporary internet releated issues and if your order appeared on our sales report from XRent that you would indeed receive credit for the order. Your order appears to not have been placed through the Kickback program. You are not due a credit. But I'll kick $2 in your account, you can use your credit up and stop using the program.

Not the response you were hoping for?
