^ Kink have definitely lifted their game. Many of the top rated newbies are shooting for them regularly and they still use Bobbi Starr a lot which is an added plus. I have been trying to work with Kink since I started in the industry. I agree they have some of the greatest videos out there and I would love to be a part of their public disgrace stuff. I have tried contacting them a couple of times and hopefully it will pay off soon.
1) Does anyone know why Kink.com no longer produces new scenes for meninpain.com? I know that kink is "hard" but i wish there would be a site that offered teasing and nasty talk mixed with the elements of Strap-on, Buttplay, Buttplugs, tied-up and multiple (2 3 or 4 ) girls per scene doing one guy. Without the (hard) whipping, electro shocks and other things like that. Cube
alexl467: MenInPain got discontinued and now DivineBitches is it's successor. MenInPain.com used to be directed by Marty (iirc), while DivineBitches is directed by Madeline, which probably explains the different style. Realistic femdom can be interesting, but the camp, gaylooking, wimpy, pussyeating, chains, shadowy, rubber, hoods etc. stuff is more comedic than anything.
MenInPain was directed by James not Marty. Madeline, the director for Divine Bitches and James successor, is AMAZING and so creative and fun to work for.
Oops. I thought I had read something about Marty and MiP on the kink forums once, seems I got something mixed up. I've never been subscribed to the site myself. Glad to hear Lochai chose to leave and was not ditched. Still a bummer, he seems like a very likeable guy and he was one of the few directors who sometimes took time to socialize on the forums. I much prefer the work of PD on Hardtied and Infernal Restraints. He's far more nasty and treats the girls more like pets to be punished. The only thing Kink has got on Hardtied and Infernal is that, for some reason PD just can't seem to get the same calibre girls that Kink can get.
I think it is the trust factor. In the beginning Peter had problems finding people as well, according to his documentary site. It seems like as he garnered a reputation for being fair and playing by the rules, the higher-caliber girls started working for him. Considering I haven't heard of Hardtied and Infernal Restraints, they must be relatively new. It takes a lot of trust to let someone tie you to the ceiling and whip you until it hurts, even if you gather enjoyment out of it.
Now that Lochai is unavailable, I would come and play with you if Peter asked me to. Unfortunately I am not able to be a submissive anymore, but I make a great dominant (I don't do suspensions or shock therapy, more due to lack of knowledge and people to assist than anything else but would be willing to learn)! I love handcuffing women as well. My choice would be more in the style of Hogtied rather than the metal restraints site.

Yes, I was aware that a lot of Insex's crew went to work for Peter. I have also heard about the culture shock these people had going to work for someone that actually enforced the unofficial rules of BDSM. I have heard about Insex's bunch not following the rules (especially regarding safewords) and that is the reason that they were broken up by the government! The few that actually made it at Kink.com now follow the rules (I understand Peter is quite picky on who he will hire when it comes to reputation for following the rules, even though many of his office staff look like Halloween characters). I know the rumor mill is not always accurate, but I have heard the story of Insex's break-up from several sources and they seem to say the same things.
Bobbi Starr, While I totally understand why they are hesitate to release ones for scenes from the sites in which females are aggressively dominated I would like to know if Kink.com is considering and/or planning on putting out compilation DVDs of scenes from both the Femdom/sub male and Ts/sub male sites, seeing how there appears to me to be a much less of a chance of them receiving a federal lawsuit case from the government for obscenity due to perceived belief that whether rightfully or wrongfully those sites are not victimizing the men who are featured in them? alexl467
As far as I know, but I'm really not the person to ask, they don't have intention to release any content on DVD. They did a test round of DVDs and as I understand Peter wasn't impressed with the results. But again don't take my word for it.

I'm a fan of kink. Though it's too expensive for me to be a member of more than one site at a time, which is a shame. If it were a bit cheeper i'd probably having a roling membership on several of the sites. I have to say i like it when the mainstream girls like Tori Black pop up. cubesnake, I'm not suggesting Bobbi Starr stops working with Kink.com and starts producing/directing her own same material type stuff. I am suggesting that like Manuel Ferrara, (who while still appearing in other people's projects stars and makes his own), she is very capable of doing a great job in front and behind the camera. ^ That's something I've noticed in their shoots, too. What's variety good for if everyone gets thrown their favorite bone yet in such small doses it ends up being hardly more than an appetizer. A lot of their best shoots were the ones guest-directed by Claire Adams, she usually gets the pacing right.
I really got into Kink at the time they were launching Behind Kink, Training of O and Device Bondage. I was blown away by Training of O's concept, the four day training was completely unique and innovative and the fact that Kink were in the process of aquiring their very own castle to headquarter it from was anoter exciting prospect. Bobbi Starr was an awesome first choice for the 'pilot.' But as of the last two, two and a half years since Mogul has taken a smaller role in day-to-day ttoo, the site has become very repetitive and retains only a small amount of what first made it what it was. Constantly botching what could be awesome updates (Jade Indica's training for example). Despite voicing, along with others, my disappointment the site continued spiralling into self-destruction. I've really not been interested in DeviceBondage since Cyd Black was made redundant, I found it one of Kink's best sites in tests of endurance and challenging the sub's physical/emotional barriers. Then it became an orgasm fest - not fun after ten scenes, let alone forty - fifty, if not more. The fact that the scenes were shortened to like ten minutes yet the site held on to it's premium price tag forced me to withdraw my custom. Then just as I thought I'd finished with Kink... Along came PublicDisgrace, awesome site with some awesome scenes and concepts. The first scene I saw was one with Carla Cox then one with Donna Bell (perhaps the only public bus anal ever!) then later another with Susana Abill - these three scenes made me join. And of course... there s Everything Butt, wonder how that will fare minus Lochai?
Which apparently has now spilled over into Hogtied with Matt being its new director. And also according to Matt, WiredPussy will switch to that style soon as well. There goes my plan of resubscribing. Donna's site was the last thing that would have made me come back but with that stupid 10-minute update model this site will hit the shitter, too. I might try new Insex / IntersecInterative instead. Ever since this liveshow hype kink has been really going downhill in my opinion. I agree that 10 minutes is short for a BDSM scene. I understand the problem that caused Peter to go to that format, though. They attempt to get a scene done in four hours. With the old documentary format, it would be extremely difficult to finish in four hours including all the rope/device rigging, stage set-up, getting equipment together, etc -- all for a 40-60 minute scene. If that were me directing, I would have just went to six to seven hour shoots (which I would guess is close to the actual time spent before the change) and instituted a break at approximately the three hour mark. I think Kink's new shortened format will start to fail and they will be back to their best within a year. Funny thing, with the new format they have even more expenses as they have to fly in more talent from Chatsworth (and they use air travel), house them, feed them, shuttle them and pay them their salary (probably reduced but not by 50-75 per cent for less time on set).
