On page 23 of this thread the user m1993 gave her new twitter as @KagneyNecessary. When I google "Kagney Linn Karter twitter" I get this one: @kagneycarter. The two paint very different pictures. So if someone could clear this up I would appreciate it. And if the @KagneyNecessary twitter account is her real one then I hope anyone who knows her makes an attempt to reach out to her.

Man, she is tweeting scary things: I hope she really gets some emotionally/mental help by a professional service provider right now! I don't know if she is using drugs or just mentally instable but things are not going right for her :-( She is not anymore in the adult industry, which is a good thing for her now. I agree Chirs Brown is a piece of shit. It looks like Kagney needs help. She's pulling a Britney with cutting off her hair. Can someone out there who knows her in real life go help her? I've been avoiding her tweets but now that I'm reading through them it's clear to me that Kagney is going through some sort of an emotional/psychological crisis. Man, she is one of the legends Hope she can retire like some of the other girls successfully do...and be happy.
Retiring successfully would be the key. After things like this I wouldn't want her coming back to the industry. It's like everyone screaming for Christy Mack to come back. Let them take time, recover, travel the world and get away from assholes before making decision to come back to please your want of more scenes. I could be totally wrong, but getting the hell out of town and meeting non-assholes could be what the entire world needs.
That's just devastating. That isn't thinking or talking about suicide. That was a full on attempt that damn near killed her. Let her retire and find some happiness. Stop asking or wanting her to come back!
This is terrible. But one thing that might come out of this is that she may get the treatment she needs. In California people who attempt suicide can be involuntarily committed if it is believed they still pose a danger to themselves. It happened to a friend of mine and it was the first step on his road to recovery. I hope she gets help now.

^I'm not really sure why there is such a rush to cite Kagney's work in pornography as the cause of her meth addiction. Are most pornstars meth addicts? Are most meth addicts pornstars? I'm not saying that her job wasn't a causal factor, for all I know it was the causal factor, but since I don't know I won't assume either way.
I don't deny the possibility that porn drove her to meth or that it drove her to attempt suicide. We know nothing about the inner workings of her mind. But it is interesting that when Robin Williams committed suicide no one said it was because of his career as a comedian. No one says that playing music is what drove Kurt Cobain to put a gun in his mouth. No says Van Gogh killed himself because he was a painter. My point isn't to dismiss the idea that a career in porn can be psychologically damaging for some people. Obviously there are many former performers who have attested to that and I don't have any reason to doubt their honesty. My point is that in these other contexts we are all more willing to acknowledge the complex reasons that drive people to take their own lives. We shouldn't turn off our brains and let our preconceived notions about pornstars do the thinking for us in this case. Kagney is a real human being with a past and life that none of us know anything about. Simply saying that porn did it to her is reducing her to a stereotype.

Urthoughts, you are an ignorant person. Is it normal for someone to get on stage in front of 10,000 strangers and make them laugh? Is it normal to come out of Seattle and be one of the pioneers of a new style of music? I know many, many porn stars and meth is not a normal vice for them. If you hate porn so much and disrespect the people that are in the industry, why are you in this forum?
I'm not saying urthoughts is one of them, but there are men who are into porn because they despise the women in it. They like seeing "sluts get what they deserve." why are some people surprised that she was on meth again ? ,that stuff was the reason she took a visit to rehab before she came back last time.pretty obvious and a junkie is always in risk to fall back not only people in porn industry in general,if you fall into high stress you can easily fall back to be a full time junkie again.Drugs are devil stuff.

truth be told im friends with a few porn stars because of my previous job and will tell you the ones im friends with have had fucked up lives which THEY SAY led them to adult movies. i dont hate on them AGAIN its about being realistic. to see a girl in porn on drugs shouldnt not be such a shock. Don't accuse people of being out of touch with reality just because they disagree with your sweeping generalizations. There are many performers who don't fit your script. And I'd say the same thing to any blind optimist who came on the forum and said that all performers were sexually liberated free-spirits who are 100 percent authentic on camera and love what they're doing. I think the reality of porn is a little more complex and nuanced then either scenario. Life tends to be that way.

with the above being said AGAIN why should it be a shock for a porn star to be addicted to any drug? lets say all porn stars are just liberated free spirited individuals who choose porn as a career, wouldnt these be the perfect candidates to " experiment" with drugs

^ i threw an OR in there. not saying all porn stars are broken but because of what kind of industry it is it attracks these types of woman. you might look at jenna Jameson and say she made millions out the game but how many havent? there are more girls who dont have her success than do. there is no absolute in the adult industry but we can go by percentages. so to say a porn star is on drugs should not be a shock UNLESS you know the individual personally.

^ Jenna Jameson maybe made millions but she lost all and is broken too, same Shyla Stylez meth ended her career, just look what Tanner Mayers did with herself or Tory Lane did recently and now Kagney. And there is way more examples it would be book. The question is these girls were kind of broken before porn? And porn have nothing to this and these girls should never come to the industry or its porn made them like this? Idk but year ago when Kagney comeback she was all good and perfect looking. Year after she is broken and wanted kill herself
