| creamlover Member 68 Posts 1/03 | Hi. I have rented about 100 VHS videos over the last 15 years, and last year started buying DVD's. I have about 35 discs so far, all but 2 are Sunshine compilations. As amazing as it is for some people, I actually DO like the 5 and 6 hour "Sunshine" video compilation DVDs (I started liking their comps on VHS a few years earlier). The video, while not as good a new 90 minute features from better companies is more than adequate and 25-35 scenes per DVD gives me tons for the money and can skip a few I dont like and still have tons left. Anyway, a place I've bought from in the past for Sunshine now started carrying 50 "Knock Out Productions" DVD's. They appear to be a new studio and only are distrubiting on DVD. However I cannot find ANY information on the net regarding them. All the discs are 4 hours, and are $9.99 each, but the place I buy from has them in 8, 10 and 20 packs for only ~$3.69 to $4.13 per disc!! A real bargain, I THINK. (about the same price as their packages of Sunshines [per hour]). I was wondering if anyone has had experience with them and know if they're worth trying. To give you a basis of comparison.. I've tried some of the "Leisure Time" 4 hour CD's and they are CRAP compared to the Sunshine comps. The Leisure times are bad because they are constantly: VERY DARK, VERY GRAINY/out of focus, and each of the 12 scenes are preceeded by 3 minutes of phone sex promos (that sadly have better video quality than the scenes!). [thus why I like Sunshine discs, they have excellent quality in comparison even though I know others dont care for them] To help, here's a link from where I've bought them to a big 20 pack they have I'm considering, but don't want to risk getting something as bad as "leisure time" but would be estatic if it was as good as Sunshine: http://www.platinumdvd.com/site/index.phtml?page=package&sku=S20PK1

| creamlover Member 68 Posts 1/03 | - Primarily similar to the Sunshine 5 and 6 hour compilation discs - A quick scan of the 8 discs showed about 30% to 50% (guestimate only) of the content duplicated from the appx 40 Sunshine 5/6 hour comp DVD's I already own, so either Sunshine has sold rights to its comps, or simply started Knock Out Pro as a new label to resell old stuff :(. However there WAS stuff I dont yet have on Sunshine discs. - The intro warnings indicated most stuff was filmed pre 2000 in the mid to late 90s. Most scenes were clearly from Buttman/Seymore Butts just like Sunshine's comps. - They were not as "polished" as Sunshine discs. Sunshine has a nice scene selector, and promos for its other more pricey multi-angle discs, plus on Sunshine you can skip the intro warning track. The Knock Out Pro ones had 5 or so old crappy VHS to DVD conversions of 1-800 ads (could be track skipped over) followed by a minute long intro warning (ages, copyright, etc..) that could NOT be track skipped, only scanned fast forward over. There are no scene selctors like Sunshine either. - I've been happy enough with sunshine. The scenes always looked like they were copied from master Beta or other good sources. However this was not the case with Knock Out. The stuff that WAS duplicates of Sunshine stuff looked identical, however the stuff that was different appeared to be POOR VHS rental tape to dvd conversions, suffering from tape noise and darkness and what not. Cleary nowhere near the standards of Sunshine's comps (which others complain about). However I will say they are still significantly better than Leisure Times comps that are just horrid VCD-like conversions of 6hr VHS rental comp tapes! - As with sunshine the covers/title for the most part have nothing to do with the content, just a name slapped to the disc. However there seemed to be less girl/girl scenes and more girl/guy scenes than Sunshine, but was still filled with a lot of anal. - OVerall, I paid $29.50 shipped for 8, 4 hour comp discs. While disappointed that about 40% of it duplicated what I already had from Sunshine, I'm not as disappointed as I was when I tried 2x Leisure TIme 4 hour discs for $14.50 shipped which while new scenes they severely sucked (3x 1800 ads at the beginning of every scene you couldn't skip over, only fast scan, and material "faked" to make the scenes match the label of the disc) - Unfortunately Sunshine seems to be regurgitating the same old scenes each time it releases a new comp disc under a different series name, so its getting harder to find new scenes on comp discs. Any feedback here is appreciated.

| creamlover Member 68 Posts 1/03 | http://www.platinumdvd.com/site/index.phtml?page=movie&movie_id=3492 Then even though the cover states "100% Jill Kelly" I am going to bet you will get 1 or 2 scenes with her, and the rest will be filler just like all Sunshine or know Knock Out Pro. While no other disc I have from these 2 "studios" have claimed 100% of something, what they do claim is backed by only 1 or 2 scenes, which I probably already have found on another disc. Again, I am a big fan of compilation discs because it gets me 4, 5 or 6 hours of porn at about a $1 an hour average (25 to 30 scenes per disc of pure sex..no crap), however the problem is that these two companies seem to be 1 in the same and they regurgitate the SAME SCENES over multiple discs, so it's becomming harder to find new stuff, therefore I'm paying much more than $1 an hour now because of all the dups. Another bad thing is I'm not very much into anal scenes (a well done one I might like, but tend to FF over all of them) and most of the Sunshine comps come from vaginal+anal-based themed originals so I seem to get an overload of anal as well as girl-girl only filler. That's why I've stopped buying Sunshine comps (along with the dup issue) and wanted to try Knock Out and found them to be somehow related to Sunshine. Dont get me wrong. If you like comps and want a lot of sex for your money they are a good deal.. much better than the misadvertized/faked LeisureTime/Nymph *crap*, but there are problems with these too. I would love to have a discussion with others who will admit they buy comp discs and enjoy them and get their take on what's good and not. I just get the feeling that everyone won't admit to liking comp discs for some reason and they're always seemed to be trashed on here for some reason without strong details (like I provided above)
