For those interested in Porn Wars, I just recieved this press release from Private in my inbox:
Celebrated Director Kovi Istvan has done it again. Teaming up with the Private Empire, Kovi has recently completed his greatest project to date; the galactically erotic adaptation of Star Wars – Porn Wars. This film is literally out of this world as Mega porn stars; tight Tara Bond and the insatiable Nikki Rider, along with Liz Honey, Mya Diamond, Victoria Swinger and Sandra Parker create a mind blowing Jedi fuck fest where Kovi guarantees that the force will be with us, over and over again.
The Porn Wars trilogy was shot in Budapest and is slated to be released in September, October and November. Porn Wars is the film with the second highest price tag for Private in a year where Private has invested the most money and have the most blockbusters scheduled since they began producing movies. Other movies include the Sex City Trilogy, Mata Hari 1 & 2, MissionPossible 2, The Da Vinci Code,Bewitched, Private World Cup 2006, Tera is Desperate, with Tera Patrick, and Sexy Santa. Get ready, because 2006 is going to be a Private affair.
Gladiator by Private is one of the largest selling DVD in the history of Adult Entertainment with over 300.000 copies sold to date, but Gary Thoulouis, Press and Brand Manager of Private Media Group, says that “I expect Kovi’s Porn Wars or Pierre Woodman’s Sex City to easily surpassed this and even, possibly, ending up being the best selling videos of all time.”

So long as it is clear that Porn Wars is a humorous spoof of the Star Wars films (which may be quite obvious if the Jedis are sucking cock whilst enthusiastically waving their lightsabres about) I think that Lucasfilm would have an uphill struggle to take any successful legal action against it. If the truth be known, I think that Lucasfilm would love the publicity.
Sorry for a cynical comment: They do press releases [edited: I mean other than for stock markets]? Have a look at the news-/pressroom- site and you understand what I mean.
Btw, there's a profile of Private in the current January 2006 UK edition of GQ-magazine (the usual: history, what a success story, ...).
Btw 2, can anyone explain me why parts of Private's business seem to have moved to Cyprus?
Btw 3, the article says they opened up a Private Members Club in Bucharest, western Europe will follow... What are the criteria to become such a member? [edited: I mean not for me, rather in general...]

Kovi and Adamo helped to ruin Private. First time post, and as my screen name states, I'm just a fan.
No agendas here.
The early Private series were great. Private Video Magazines started out somewhat stilted, then hit their stride. Some great features. They developed it into some great movies, starring both American and European girls.
It was just hot sex, not gonzo, and not contract feature gals. And no clipped flashing light disco voiced over bullshit.
The Private I liked had gals like Vanessa Chase, Rebecca Lord, Tammi Ann, Kai Nobel, Draghixa, Danyell Cheeks, and many more.
They were shown in a classy way, but not over wrought like Kovi.
Porn has a place, but directors don't need to be Orson Welles.
There's a balance somewhere, between art and bullshit. (That's actually not a bad one, Walter)
Private's director's never found it after the mid to late ninety's.
Thanks for the link to machomedia.hu/, I found some great pics of my fave girl Michele Wild dancing at a club! I also found some cool pics of Maria Belucci! Thanks again!
