Chris: Don't hold your breath about seeing any more Kristara Barrington stuff. To the best of my knowledge, she's joined the "Traci Lords" club -- meaning most, if not all, of her stuff has been cut from current releases of older movies. If memory serves me correctly, when she saw how much publicity and fame Traci Lords got when she admitted to being underage when she shot most of her stuff, Kristara tried the same thing. She started the same rumor on herself, and it backfired! The producers and studios, already burned and out lots of money from pulling Traci's stuff out of distribution and dumping or recutting it, dropped her like a hot rock! Case in point -- the hatchet job VCA did to "Every Woman Has a Fantasy #1" to remove every last frame of Kristara from the film, which ruined what had been one of the absolute classics in porn!
Diesel: (1)Thanx for refining and improving upon my post -- you're absolutely right about her later stuff being OK, just the earlier stuff was underage. (2) Which, of course, makes all the more "logical" her wanting to get the rumor about the earlier stuff out there -- the better to sell the later stuff! Although I can't be absolutely, 100% sure about it (and, of course, no one will own up to the truth), the "buzz" at the time was that she, herself, secretly had the rumor put out!

I read she shot over 100 scenes one year. That's a working porn star. I wasn't a big fan of hers, but she was on some of the tapes I owned. Of course, I threw them all out when the dvd became king.

Kristara At IAFD Kristara At Freeones Kristara At The Premiere of New Wave Hookers Thoroughly gorgeous and sexual. Never saw her out performed in a film. I concur, one of the top all-time stars. ^ Depends on when it was shot. After about 1987 almost everything was shot on cassette. The problem with that is that it locks the resolution, meaning you can't do anything but up convert and 99.9% of those those look horrible. Digital took that out of play with the only real cap being how good your camera is. If they were shot on film, rights would have to be negotiated, the negative has to be found {those weren't exactly stored well at times} and/or a scan of a copy of the film has to be made, then gone through and cleaned up. It isn't easy or cheap. You will also find at least 15 of her titles unavailable anywhere on any format in the US, Traci Lords was in those.
