Kristine DeBell

In the thread about
Asian male talent, garcon98 pointed out the identity of Jackie Chan's on-screen girlfriend in the martial arts flick "The Battle Creek Brawl" (1980).

She's Kristine DeBell (or De Bell), and I've only just found out about her porn past as Alice in the X-rated 'Alice in Wonderland' (1976, Bill Osco, director Bud Townsend). I've only just managed to see a few short clips on the web, but my is (or was) she a hottie! And she CAN act.

Apparently she did quite a bit of mainstream work, TV-series and such. And at least one more (probably soft-)porn performance, in the Black Emmanuelle series starring my semi-compatriot Laura Gemser ('Emmanuelle Around The World').

Apparently, plans for making a X-rated version of 'The Wizard of Oz' with Kristine as Dorothy never materialized. What a loss! I think 'Alice' was a great piece of work even though there's is only a little bit of explicit sex footage. I'd beg, steal and borrow to see something like that with the inclusion of present-day standard hardcore action... But I think a feature like 'Alice' would be way to expensive to make nowadays.

Anyway Kristine must be around 50 years old now, so no hope of her making a comeback and completing the 'to do' list.

I have found some listings of Kristine DeBell's work until the early 1980s; after that, she seems to have vanished off the earth. And I haven't been able to find any bio data on her other than that she was born in 1954 and once was a Ford agency model. For someone who has done a lot of mainstream work (in films starring Bill Murray, Ryan O'Neal and Barbara Streisand, for instance) surely there must be something more, like a fanclub or whatever. But zero so far.

Anyway, my questions are:

- does anyone have any more information about her person or career other than mentioned here? especially what became of her after the mid-1980s?
- or know of any other appearances as a model, other than the April 1976 issue of Playboy?
