The girls scene rate is at maximum level, and you have a lot of men to pay. Even if you get low paid unknown guys you are still at 300 at least per man.
Also, to even attempt to make money at a scene of this level, you need a porn girl that will draw.... which means she will cost even more.
Also, in order to make sales and not be totally destroyed by piracy, there has to be a high level of quality from the production and image qualities right to the scene itself. Which again, means better equipment and more money.
Just putting together a low cost gangbang with cheap production values will get you nowhere; in the past you would make money no problem! You are looking at a significant dollar amount to do a gangbang in relation to what you have to sell.
So, there is a lot of middle ground here. Many scenes are coming out with 2 - 5 men. The 12 + guy gangbangs are going to be few and far between. Even Legal Porno keeps the male quotient less than 6 and only to 10 man gangbangs on occassion.
If you can live with 3 - 5 guy scenes, there are some coming out in the US. Riley Reid's last month was really good for example.
