The only person she had even really met was her agent. That loser turns to have been in cahoots with Max, to steer unsuspecting girls to him and make sure those girls didn't really know any better, such as the going pay rates, rules of behavior on sets, etc. In that shoot, for example, Max never told her that he was really going to piss on her. When he mentioned it before the shoot I think she assumed, as most people would, that he was going to fake it with a little tube, etc. The camera angle used certainly favors it. It was a complete shock when he just pulled out and let loose. She was also ignorant of the post-shoot interview rules and consequences of not signing the model release form. At some point after that Lain met Gen Padova and moved in with Gen as a roommate. While they later had a falling out, Gen did get Lain straightened out in terms of industry do's and don'ts, how it all works, and Gen got Lain connected with a real agent and away from the worst of the scumbags.
