Lana, the idea of setting up a production company in order to produce your own stuff sounds like a great idea. Not only would it give you the ability to do exactly what you want, but you could also be there to give other girls a safe environment. Also you mentioned you haven t raised your fees and all that. Getting what your worth is not the same as being greedy, and you are a top performer. It's pretty clear with you that it's not about the money, and I respect that, but you deserve whatever you can get, don't ever short change yourself. Just remember, if no one liked your movies or cared about you, there would never be any drama. No one would give a shit. I don't know how the porn industry works so I might be being incredibly naive here but, in most industries, your agent works for you, not the other way around. Seems strange in porn that women seem worried about upsetting their agent rather than the agent being scared of losing their client when they've put them in a bad situation. I applaud Lana for going against that and deciding her wellbeing is more important than her agents wishes. Hopefully he supported her in that decision and it seems so as Lana is still singing his praises. Would say this though that porn producers will be falling over themselves to work with Lana with or without her agent and I'm not sure,in this social media age, why anyone would need one unless they were just starting out and trying to make connections. Again, I don't really know the business so maybe agents are more necessary than I think. Just seems a bit of a racket from the outside looking in though.

Wow, just got this thread unlocked now that Lana has come back and already there are zombie Woodman followers calling Lana a psychopath here! Hopefully this guy gets banned. Not going to say too much about Woodman here since I have to be pretty civil, and some previous posts allude to how I feel about him. Just going to say when he is hopefully forced out of the industry, I think a lot of things will come to light about how he brainwashes and threatens women in the business. He has gone so far as to create a disguised account on LP to insult people with the same nonsensical posts as he does on all other forums. I even regrettably went to his forum to read his texts he showed with Lana that only show how arrogant he is. There are actually grown men on his forum that call him master! He actually accused me of being Stephan at LP here even though as can clearly be seen I created this account in 2004! Anyway, back to Lana, glad you spoke up and exposed PW for who he is. How will companies know because they won't shoot her for IR if isn't not listed and they think she does don't those scenes. Companies and directors will go by which act these girls are available for. Not everyone isn't into white porn scene, she will have a tough time getting booked for those scenes if it's not listed on there, and then these so call IR fans will started asking ,and if you don't answer then they will started to harass her and get mad if she doesn't do more of those scenes. ^^^ That's always the question: Not putting all acts on the model card before a 'first' deal is secured is - I assume - pretty standard. With Lana having done IR and not explicitly finding it on her model card leaves potential producers with two options: - call the agency up and inquiry, which would give you the answer Lana gave (or by simply listening to the chatter going around in the industry) - don't call the agency and therefore don't book her. Given that Lana is already booked until next spring (IIRC), it's not really her problem As I mentioned before, I find that commendable, as I believe it should be understood that the actor's race should have absolutely no effect; Kudos for Lana in spearheading this.
