I don't know if I would say that. In the past, Motley has been spotty, but ethical, which is not true with many other agents. Agents have a tough job. Working with talent, either new or veteran, is never an easy task. I know of cases where Motley has purchased airfare for models to come to LA to shoot, and the models just don't show up, with Motley footing the bill.
Every once and awhile they sign a true professional (Alex Harper comes to mind - who is now with Spiegler Girls, perhaps the top agency.) But for every professional they sign, there are a number of amateurs that are more trouble than assets. There is a lot of hand-holding required. I have followed (and used Motley models) for four years and during that time they have presented over 350 models. The chances of getting rich being an agent is very small. If they can end the day with a profit, I'm sure they are happy.
We don't know the whole story with Lanna, and perhaps we never will. I just think it's hard for us, sitting out here, to appoint blame. Let's just see what happens...

First of all, all these photo shopped pictures with heavy makeup do not do this girl justice! It makes her look like a completely different person! She's way cuter in her actual scenes. Check out her CastingCouch-X scene. It's fantastic and I hope she does a lot more scenes.

On her Twitter page, she says she has retired, but she does keep posting - so maybe there is a chance she'll return.
She WAS signed by Morley, so she DID do a Net Video Girl titled "Petite little Calendar girl" or Katie. It's a nice one hour two minute video that is certainly worth watching.

I scoff at everyone who swears they are going to be the next big thing in the adult industry. Seen too many people like Lanna who arrive with a look and plenty of hype yet leave with a whimper before even getting their feet seriously wet. Mind you, I am not attacking the flash in the pans but I feel like the cockiness almost guarantees an extremely short term career.

^ I hear you. But, I'm afraid I like the flash-in-pans equally as much. The reasons for a quick exit are many and varied. For some it was planned, for others it just didn't fit them, and still others were not treated nicely. It's all good.
