Just a question about the shipping costs:

Method Initial Rate Per Item Rate
DHL EXPRESS $22.00 $2.00
GLOBAL PRIORITY (No Cases!) $5.00 $1.00
GLOBAL PRIORITY MAIL $6.00 $3.00
INTERNATIONAL MAIL $3.49 $3.49
UPS EXPRESS $19.00 $1.00

If I chose "GLOBAL PRIORITY (No Cases!)" and buy one dvd would that cost me $5 or $6? Ie is the first item counted in the per item rate? I think it $6.

I ordered three titles and was charged $7 shipping.
$5 initial rate + 2 * $2 per extra item.

But they shipped those titles with cases anyway.
Apparently you need to email them first, to let them know you really want "no cases".

Another thing.
When they ship without cases, they just chuck the artwork and the discs into a large bubble padded envelope, where the discs float about and get scratched.

A shipment of one or two DVD's with cases rarely catches the eyes of the Danish customs. (I forgot to mention I live in Denmark)

Of course the only thing that happens when the customs here come across a shipment of porn to a private consumer, is that it's charged duty and VAT.

I guess it's worse for you chaps and chappettes in ol' Blighty.

FiveStar's Global Priority Letter without cases is about as discrete as it gets.

No, it shouldn't do. As I recall, pretty much all my orders from Laser's Edge have had no problem passing UK customs with cases. Recently used their no cases option which was impressive once they shipped - my problem with Laser's Edge is that they sometimes take a little long to get items into stock, which means you lose the speed benefit of Global Priority.
