It was a simple business-related decision. I'd rather not disclose the details though it's nothing to worry about as a customer of theirs. They are still a quality retailer just not one we wish to have listed in the price search.

Oh... my question has been answered already...
Too bad, Lasersedge is the store of my choice if they have the DVDs I want because it's almost fun to pay their international shipping costs. Of course I accept your decision, Drew, and of course I can also run a price search at their website, but still it's too bad. In fact I used to run a price search here when I wanted to know if a certain movie was available at Lasersedge because when it wasn't I got alternatives without having to do anything. That ruled.

Yeah, they may have most everything listed under the sun, but they were also far from honest with their availability on a few titles I tried to get. One too months to get while I never got another. In both cases they listed it as the 3-5 days out, or whatever it is while I was e-mailing back and forth with them. I finally gave up on them when they had a great price on a 3 DVD set I was interested in. When it came in as only the first release in the series and I contacted them about it, I was told that even though they mislisted it on their site (showing the complete set, listing the title as the complete set, and then saying it was a single disc release making me think it was re-released) I was basically told that it was my fault I only got the first DVD but they'd be more than happy to sell me the 3 DVD set too. I can't say I'm disappointed to see them go, although I can understand international customers being disappointed due to those rates.

Cheap shipping is nice, but I stopped using them because their idea of shipping without the boxes was chucking the discs and covers into a large padded envelope, letting the unprotected discs float around freely, scratching against each other.

I just did that... I hope it works... of course they could definitely do without this casual buyer but maybe I'm not the only one who would never have heard about Lasersedge were they not to be found in the ADT price search.Well, something similar happened to me, too, but they made up for it by sending part of my order immediately and the rest when it was available even though that option normally costs a lot more. My shipping costs were $1.99 for the first part of the order and nothing at all for the second part. I think it's not that easy to keep a catalogue that large up to date (happens to Amazon all the time when I order weird stuff) so I decided to forgive them.Wow... now that's something different... If that had happened to me I wouldn't try to get them back, either...Umm... yeah... really "special" idea of cheap shipping... In my case, they put the discs into paper sleeves as it should always be done.

Sad to see them go. They were very reasonably priced and shipped quickly. I have placed several orders with them and have been pleased. EMS providers for ALT Porn!!!!
I'm saddened by the demise of Laser's Edge. They're one of the only sites I did business with who never screwed up an order and always got my order to me quickly, all at some of the best prices. Many thanks to the Adkins and all former employees. May they all prosper in future endeavors.
