Bill  All-Star Member 5334 Posts 6/00 | Posted - May 24 2002 : 8:43PM The only negatives about Laser's Edge is the lack of an inventory status on the site (you don't know if something is out of stock until after you order it), and the fact that they don't participate in the Kickback program. However, often their prices are so good for some companies titles that they easily beat the prices of the other retailers (even with the Kickback). Please note, Laser's Edge has free Priority Shipping when you order 4 or more discs. If you specify that you want discs shipped when they are available, they will ship whatever they have, and then ship other titles as they come in all with no charge. Ignore what their site says about shipping costs (something like $2.50 per shipment), a few months ago they changed their standard shipping prices to $1 per disc up to 3 discs, 4 or more ship for free. I don't know if this is still true or not, but it used to be that if you ordered 2 discs or less the standard shipping was either first class or media mail (not priority mail) [Link] |
