Hello,

I understand that Caballero has a DVD version of the 70's classic SENSATIONS. I would appreciate any comments on the quality of the DVD and whether it is worth buying.

Generally speaking Caballero DVDs aren't the best quality. The main title is usually spread over several titles (meaning you can't back up past a certain point in the film). The transfers are generally acceptable. I haven't seen their disc for Sensations yet so this is based on my experiences with other Caballero discs. You can usually pick them up cheaply (Five Star has a 6.99 sale right now on Caballero Classics) so if the film interests you its probably worth picking up on the cheap side. Sorry I couldn't help you with the specific disc but I figured that general info on their discs is better than nothing.

Sensations is currently on my review pile, and the quick rundown (have only watched it partly and ff-ed the rest) is that the picture quality of this one is very acceptable for a 30 year old movie, the sound is ok, but sometimes unsynced (but that could have been the same in the original) and it is put on 2 titles, with only 4 chapterstops, so finding your favourite part asks for fastforwarding a lot. I am definitely going to add it to our classics section. Great movie!
