It's an interesting move because her pictures and videos are all over Reddit and the internet in general. Her stuff will never be removed from all the tube sites so it seems like a fruitless endeavour.
No, you certainly can't undo a porn career. But if *she* (and not her family or someone else, against her will) is making an honest attempt out of necessity for her peace and happiness to at least put her porn career in the rear view mirror...well I wish her all the success in the world. I would say it's pretty clear that she wasn't ready for the prime time porn lights to be shining on her as brightly as they were for a few months last year.

Is nobody troubled by the fact that this was an apparently illegal use of the DMCA process, at least in part? Looking back over the thread, while some images reported for takedown had originated from Layla Jenner's own social media accounts, many others were from various companies that she worked for. While obviously copyrighted, it appears rather unlikely to me that the reporting entity was legally entitled to request removal of the latter set of images, not actually being one of the copyright holders or a representative of them. (It goes without saying that I don't fault Drew for taking the flamethrower to everything anyway, sorting out the valid from the frivolous claims would have been infeasible.)
Yeah, I mean she started when she was 19? We all made some pretty dumb decisions at that age. Getting into porn obviously isn't necessarily dumb, it depends on what that person thinks is best, but it was a wrong decision for her and one that she clearly regrets. I can understand her perspective and reasoning, but the damage is already done so to speak, there is no erasing a career in porn, especially one where you were prominent for a while. I wish her well.

FTV Under Robs management did sometimes remove a model from the site at her request(but he was not obligated legally, that I know of to do so)

I agree, it is futile. I have no idea what their objective is. I mean, sure, submit copyright and have images removed from here and Reddit, but what good does that really do? She's still all over all the major tube sites and she'll still be posted regularly on Reddit and Twitter/X where they'd have an endless game of cat-and-mouse in regards to copyright. I guess over time she'll be posted less and less on those platforms as she'll be forgotten about, but her stuff will stay forever on the tube sites.
I use CloudFlare as a security and content delivery network provider. When you access ADT you're getting to the site through CloudFlare's network. The DMCA takedown request was submitted to CloudFlare. CloudFlare forwards it to me and they give me a certain amount of time to rectify it. They also forward it to the company that provides the hosting location for my servers. If I don't take the stuff down they terminate my service.

as to "secrecy" a company is not the NSA/FBI/CIA or any other three letter govmt agency that can demand/compel of course they could "ask" but unless both parties agree and why would they want to keep it anyway this seems like a publicity stunt
There is a small/growing group of companies actively marketing internet history and reputational cleanup services for former (and even some current) porn stars. Many performers on OnlyFans will hire these companies to get all instances of their performer name expunged from any public locations on the internet. They implement this "service" by abusing the DMCA takedown system. They claim they own something on the page that they absolutely have no claim to, other than their performer name. Often these takedown requests are for pages with no images of the performer, just discussion about them. But they can do this because most people won't go through the effort to fight it. There's not much to gain.

I would think that if most website owners/hosts, such as yourself, "won't go through the effort to fight it", that there likely will be a growing market for this service. I've got to think that many young women get into porn without fully realizing and appreciating how what they do can live permanently in all sorts of corners of the internet. And as they grow older and their circumstances change, there are going to be those who wish they could erase that history.
Absolutely this. While I think 18 is an appropriate age to essentially be given your freedoms and become an adult, I still think everyone makes impulsive decisions at that age. I can imagine that if you are approached at that age, offered the chance to make a lot of money by having a lot of sex on camera, it would be very easy to say yes and not think long-term. I certainly have sympathy with her and others in that regard, yes they were the ones to ultimately make the deicison, but having that one decision follow you for the rest of your life and probably affect a lot of future career choices or opportunities, it must be difficult.

It's unfortunate to see her exit from the industry but having read right through this thread it's been like watching a slow motion train wreck. It's difficult not wonder if someone pulling her aside and having a quiet word to her about what she was saying would have made any difference. She probably thought, and not unreasonably, that being pretty and willing to have sex on camera was all that was needed to succeed in the industry.
She talks about quitting porn and het two month career. She says it was a hiccup and "couldn't take d**k like that." Maybe an act of course, (esp her supposed crush) but she does cover many topics raised in this thread and I found it interesting.

^ Not sure that anything bad happened to her but she's said a few things that would appear to have led her to being effectively blackballed by the major studios. It didn't take a lot of research to discover what she's doing nowadays and it would seem that porn is no longer her chosen profession
