To all LFP Video directors and editors:

The following guidelines must be followed for all video and box cover productions:

1. no shots with the appearance of pain or degradation
2. no Bukkake
3. no spitting or saliva mouth to mouth
4. no food as a sex object
5. no urination at all
6. no blindfolds
7. no wax dripping
8. no bondage or bondage type toys or gear, unless very light
9. no hands from two different people fingering the same girl
10. no male/male penetration
11. no transsexuals
12. no degrading dialogue
13. no menstruation topics
14. no incest topics
15. no forced sex or rape themes
16. no bestiality
17. no hands(s) around someone's neck

I believe the word dvd was left out of this line. Pretty sure it should read, "...all video and dvd box cover productions." This doesn't appear to be about what's in the movie itself.

I have to support this simply because LFP has probably figured out that it makes it easier for the retailer (especially internet) and the publications that do reviews to conform to the new 2257 regulations when the box covers don't contain 'objectionable' or hardcore imagery.

In fact, I doubt they went far enough if that was their intent, and should have said 'no penetration' on the box cover.

I saw the box covers for Otto and Audrey's new release, and all I could think was, 'They have a great gimmick here, with four box cover choices. But every one has HARDCORE!'

If they would have had four versions, one all softcore, then a lot of retailers and publishers would have been a hell of a lot happier.

Place the stuff that could most likely get the people that carry it in trouble for not having the 2257 paperwork inside the box cover.

Tell the consumer what's inside the box with creative and descriptive words, not just pictures. (Gee - real, creative box cover copy in porn... Who'd a thunk it?)

i saw this leak also and i was like man no mouth to mouth spit? wtf but after Lady B's post I reread it. Makes sense. I prefer pretty girl box covers myself. makes me feel better about myself :)

If this was only about box covers, it would include penetration of all types and it would be unneccesary to include mentions of dialog. More over, what do directors and editor have to do with box covers?

This is about the videos themselves.

TonyC is correct on it being the "Cambria List." I ran it by the SO last night and he said that list sounded exactly like Paul Cambria's reaction to the Bush II Admin's 'morality cops' strategy that ultimately led to the Rob Black arrest and subsequent dismissal of charges.

I'd never heard of the "Cambria List" either, so I was assuming it was related to the recent 2257 issues. LFP didn't get where they are by being stoopid. They want their stuff in the largest possible pool of retailers, and a lot of this list would make good business sense at this time.

I wouldn't doubt that this list might have been resurrected due to the new "Obscenity Task Force" and the DoJ's 2257 changes.

I still stand by my opinion that if this has been reissued to deal with the recent DoJ issues, it's a good idea.

I don't agree with a lot of the items on this list. But as long as they aren't edited out of the movie itself, it's really not a bad idea to keep box covers to pretty girl and softcore art.
