Can anyone point me in the right direction as to what to do with it? Can I sell it? Should I have signed affadavits from my co-star that she is of age and consented to the acts and all that? I don't want to get in trouble if I (or anyone else) gets caught with it! Any advice would be stupifyingly appreciated. I think I might be on to something here. I'm sure it's not good enough to be considered by a real production company. I just did it for fun, but I'd consider doing it again and trying to raise the bar quality-wise if I knew what all was involved. THANK YOU, any and all, profoundly. I've been in business before with someone else and we were an LLC, for the very reason you mentioned - to protect our personal assets. We weren't selling videos, but I see where you're coming from. Hmmm, getting a lawyer, setting up a corporate entity, getting licenses, all that...I'm seeing work and $$$ signs. What about sending my stuff off to a company that already exists who specializes in amateur content? Is there such a company? [Link] |

You can find a good lawyer that could help you out and it is a business expense that is a write-off for taxes. The money you spend, could save you a ton. You might also want a lawyer if you give your work to an existing distributor. How will you know if you are okay and getting your fair share with their agreement?
