The worst thing for me is that the cost is born out of the producers' pocket for compliance. http://www.xrentdvd.com/XRentDVD_News.html?newsDate=201211#MeasureB Is there any hope of injunctive relief through the courts? I'm sure FSC will get right on it after they force me to watch a few more anti-piracy ads. Way to take your eyes off the ball guys. Box cover reliance is going to be ever more important. I'm not buying condom product. I hope that reputable reviewers will alert to condoms as a consumer protection. The Xrent article implies for cost savings: no state income tax, cheaper rents, easy to travel to that the industry will migrate to Nevada. Yeah? Or unlikely? Nevada isn't a nanny state like California, but who's to say that Vegas won't do the same thing and legislate this "problem" away? Is there a main thread where this discussion is taking place? A couple threads I saw were locked, but didn't see where to go for the main discussion. tia Torris [Link] |
