You should be paid based on how "marketable" you are. In other words, how many people are going to buy a DVD (or join a website) because of your scene. The basics of the racial problem is that many of the companies willing to pay those higher rates are (generally speaking) the companies that rarely shoot black performers (because they don't see them as "marketable enough"), and many of the companies that routinely shoot black performers aren't willing to pay those rates. Black people have little or no power in the porn industry, according to everyone deemed to have a valid perspective. Unequal pay for African-Americans, is unequeal pay and racist regardless of any other factors. Unequal employment oppurtunites for African Ameircans is unequal oppurtunity, regardless of any other factors. Both of these practices done by the porn industry are grossly racist and illegal, in the racist porn industry or in any industry including any industry dominated by African-Americans. Also, it is verified by anyone in the industry who has offered any information or eviddnece on the topic of the gross racist practices of the porn industry.
