Oh my god, I totally forgot that Mariah was back! Mariah has something very special, at least in her early performances. on two points i think people are surprised teagan could write without spelling errors and all, but please be reminded there is a spell check on here. also, on lela star, im sure shes going to lose a lot of fans over this move, but on the other hand i would guess shes going to make more money. some might say she sold out, but im sure shes also thinking about the wear and tear on her body as well. shes obviously going to be doing less fucking and making more money. as i said, i wont be a fan of the new movies because the features are not my thing.
I would say exactly the opposite on Lela Star. I expect her fanbase to grow quite a bit due to this move. It's those who enjoy strictly gonzo that might stray from watching her movies but I think Lela will be exposed to a bigger audience with this move. I am by no means an expert and if someone in the industry would want to comment that would be great but aren't the #'s much bigger for those who view Vivid/ Wicked/ Digital Playground/ Club Jenna than they are for Gonzo companies not named Evil Angel!! I'm going to hold off with the doom and gloom stuff on Lela's work until I see it for myself. After much thought, you really cant blame either of these girls, Lela or Teagan for taking the money. I saw recent scenes of Aurora Snow, a porn star who never sold out, and is a favorite to many. My first thought was, what happened to this woman. Shes aged very badly and shes only 26 or 27. I guess that will answer all of our questions as to why these actresses strive for contracts, less scenes, and do not stay in gonzo for years. Aurora use to be the best, but if you look at her face on cumfiesta and some other sites, she put on a lot of weight and has wrinkles on her face. I guess none of us can blame these 2 for taking the money, cause from what ive seen, being a gonzo actress for years, wears you out.
I am of the opinion that exposure plays a huge role in how a "star" is perceived by the consumer. Gonzo films put you on every cover, and for the most part the featured girls will be portrayed in accord with the niche that particular film is aiming for (big asses, ultra hardcore, cum eating). The star has an "angle" therefore with which to market that particular scene for that particular niche to that particular consumer. It's a formulae that the consumer enjoys, and is disheartened, and not surprisingly upset when it is disrupted. It is surprising to me, however, that consumers do not admit that they have probably like 20-30 girls at any given time that are "it" girls for them. New girls come up all the time ... e.g. Alexis Texas, Bree Olson, Paulina James, Nikara. When stars like Lela and Teagan sign contracts, I believe it is a measured gamble that is in their best interests as women understanding the window of opportunity open to them (An aside: what was said about Aurora Snow has to be a truly idiosyncratically based opinion - she continues to look 20 and is one of the hottest performers around). This is a busines, and these women understand that primarily it's their bodies that are commodified by the market, and the fucking comes second for the average renter/downloader (certainly debatable). Let's face it, these women are drop dead gorgeous and how they fuck on screen is in keeping with the director's vision. The star still brings the heat, and being in the moment a star is still able to talk dirty, slobber on a bone, and spank their ass if they desire. It's just not as consistent or saturated as when they were plugged into niche flicks 6-7 titles a month. For Lela, I believe she will bring a hard edge to story line productions, and I personally will enjoy how her personality comes through as a result - a whole new dimension to appreciate. Lela, you are a stunner and you will rock Club Jenna for as long as you choose to remain under contract. For Teagan, I've already said elsewhere what my esteem for you and your career is. Everyone has an opinion, and at the end of the day, positive or negative - people speak out because they are fans. Lela and Teagan rocked in gonzo, and will continue to rock under contract. Wasn't Aurora a contract girl for Metro for awhile? Or something like that. I don't think she has shot continuously, in any case. So if someone was suggesting that staying a free agent gonzo girl can age a girl prematurely, I don't think Aurora is the best example to support that position. Incidentally, Aurora looks fine to me. I'd guess that a girl's off-screen lifestyle and the dumb luck of what genes she was born with are the biggest determiners of how well she will age. Do contract stars automatically have healthier lifestyles than free agents? I doubt it. I think there are good movies and bad movies from both gonzo companies and the traditional feature companies. But nothing prevents the contract companies from hiring free agents on a movie-by-movie basis. But once a girl signs a contract, it limits what directors and co-stars she gets to work with.

I knew Aurora Snow has many loyal fans. She is a fantastic performer, and is really a pornstar of the people. I was merely pointing out there she gained considerable weight in the last few years. Check out some of her earlier titles to recent ones such as Anal Expedition 10, Grand Theft Anal 9. Shes definitely put on some pounds. In my opinion shes aged alot in her face, some may agree, some may not. All im saying is shes probably had it rougher than a contract girl whos only making a few movies a year. Look at the amount of movies Aurora has been in. And shes been doing it consistently for years. Thats gotta cause a lot of wear n tear on the body. Teagan was offered a ClubJenna contract by Jenna herself I bet thats something Lela cant say. She turned it down due to the fact she knew she would be better off. Lela will learn the same thing by her acceptance of the Club Jenna contract

Besides that CJ has much tamer scenes, its likely that Lela will only put out a handful of titles per year, much less than the amount of scenes shes put out in the past. I know a lot of these porn stars wanna be the next Jenna, but I think thats just a one time thing. I dont think Lela would ever be that big. Look at the other CJ stars. Other than Jenna, i wouldnt say many are popular. I know I wont be purchasing any of Lelas movies anymore. Nor do i purchase Teagan. I really liked them both, before they left gonzo. It such a shame that most all the good gonzo pornstars either sign contracts or get old :(

i woudnt call jessie jane a porn "star". Most mainstream people dont have a clue who she is. I think she was on Entourage but she played herself. Well, all things considered, since Lela doesn’t seem to be going down the anal route (albeit one scene), then Lela’s Gonzo sex carrier is probably nearing its peak. So this is a good move for her, she left us while the buzz on her was still high, which is a smart decision. Anything positive..yes..I like Devon, Jenna, Jenaveve Jolie, Tawny Roberts. i use to like Aurora Snow, Lela Star, Tory Lane. My biggest gripe is that a lot of these girls hang around way too long, get worn out, like an old athlete, dont know when its time to quit. Devinn, you know very well your 7 lives show never ran that long in new form. As far as you scenes go, Wicked was pretty good, jenna, serenity, alexa, but for the most part all you did was lesbian scenes until the end where you did a handful of boy girls, and they werent that great. To downplay the effect that Howard Stern had on your career is really a slap in the face to him. Surely you know that his viewership/listener base is many times that of 7 lives. It doesnt even matter to respond on this, because youve retired. If youre at your sexual peak thats good for you. Lucky for us, none of us have to view it.
This is the crux of it - I agree with what Cash says about Lela looking out for herself, that's just common sense. I'd love to review fine dining for a living, but if someone offered me more money to do it less often I think I might just work less.
