Lauderdale for former Penthouse Pet and Vivid Girl Leslie Glass, 36, who died August 4 in Baltimore from complications due to liver cancer. Glass had been diagnosed in June with cancer of the liver, colon, and ovaries. According to fellow Vivid Girl Jenteal, the cancer was so extensive that tumors had consumed most of Glass’ body below her lungs. Glass had had surgeries to remove some of the cancer and was undergoing chemotherapy at the time. However the doctors offered little chance for recovery if the current wave of chemo didn’t work. Had the chemo been successful, Glass could have been put on a list for a liver transplant. This was a real downer for me. I promoted the Leslie Glass Recovery Fund for quite a while, then stopped, as I could not find out any information on her condition, not even from the manager of the Recovery Fund. So, fearing that maybe it was a scam, I stopped promoting it. Makes me feel kinda lousy now, especially with cancer striking so close to my own family.
