That's what porn is about, but for some that is not the only thing it is about. Nor does everybody get to the same point the same way. I, however, value my own opinion.

Well i enter the category you mention, personally its very rare that i liked a porn movie for the story, concept or things like that. Even when they come with a decent story it go cheesy and kinda ridiculous, good to laught but well... so yeah its more for the sex, to be honest i prefer a classic porn movie with 5 scene that come one after another with no story(just peoples fucking) then a movie with a storyline where the storyline actually take place of the sex...
We all watch porn for the sex. No-one is denying that, so I'm not sure what there really is to start getting honest about. But just like a good wine might need some nice food to go with it, so can porn sex become better if it is embedded in settings or stories that make the sex come alive. (Yes, even for many honest people, the level of excitement is not directly proportional to how many dicks are stuffed into the chick, how much cum she swallows, or even to how much she is made to sample the taste of her own or some other girl's ass.)
That being said, most porn features still suck since the plot parts are so tediously scripted and lamely acted. And while elaborate sets, clothes, and make-up together with adept editing can help make the sex hotter, it is not enough (as some directors seem to think) to simply have lots and lots of these things, then they will only dominate the sex and the result will be plain boring. "Artistic" porn is very hard to do well, but I for one can honestly say that it is still what I really want to watch.
I have only seen some titles I truly enjoyed and among them were the Squirting 101 series and the Ultimate Guide to Anal Sex For Women, because they have this Discovery Channel touch, mixed with documentary or reality show elements.
When you have group of people discover new things then you don't need a script..things happen alone. That's what made viewing those titles a pleasure for me, but I don't see it reflected in reviews for example, because probably most people don't expect such things. If there are not all positions covered, they feel like something is missing.
ATM and all that stuff isn't arousing for me, I always have to imagine how K-Jelly tastes with a little bit of, you know what I mean.
But when it comes to stories, I haven't seen good scripted stories in porn, so far. And I prefer a good erotic mainstream movie with subtle stuff.

Well for me its a big factor(how much dick and cum swallow etc) and for the second part, there porno star, not actress so thats why most of them can`t simply act, they pay to have sex...
