Nice job Smash! I hope other companies (hello 3rd Degree!)wake up and start doing a better job of promoting their products. You have websites. Use them!
Stuart, just noticed on your website that you shot Whale Tail #3 the second week of October. So you got art work and pre-post finished and posted on your website in 1 month and will have the DVD out within 2 months of shooting?
When you advertise in the trade magazines they are always 2 months ahead as to why you have to have your artwork completed to meet their deadlines. Also we never shoot a movie in one day, if your looking at the production dates on the back of the box, yes one scene might of been shot in October and the last might of been last week. I try to give each director 30 days to space out their bookings. On top of that we first finished the edit last week on Whale Tail #3 and I rushed to get the trailer on the site for our fans. Our next step is to have it authored then from there replicated.
They both star together in Cheating Housewives #3 which came about near 7 months ago and we're starting some new productions with Nicole & Voodoo as well.
Love your guy's work stuj, do you still have a plan in the works for a sequel for six in me? I really liked your guys's casting for the first one. And you had a good qay of promoting it by giving a prize to who could guess the cast members
SMASH PICTURES is also impressing me as well. I have found myself purchasing at least four of its titles in the past year, which is a ton for me (considering that the majority of my purchases come from Evil Angel, Evasive Angles, Elegant Angel, and Mercenary Pictures). SMASH is moving up.
