A fresh start. I knew people would be shocked but I thought they would like it once they saw me perform. December 21st marked "the end of the world" but also some, like myself, believe to be a shifting into a new age (fingers crossed it's the age of Aquarius). So that's the day I did it. My hair was bright blue after letting my sister finally have her fun, knowing I was going to shave it off. I can't tell you how awesome it felt to take that first piece of hair and snip. Right at my forehead so there was no turning back. I just kept snipping and watching the neon hair cover my all white bathroom. I was truly freeing! I think it's so sexy and empowering. I feel good when I look in the mirror. I will have long hair one day, but for now I enjoy taking 5 min showers, not having to waste money on countless hair products, or having to dry my hair on cold mornings. I takes me 10 min to get ready in the morning. I never have bad hair days and most importantly I feel like such a bad ass chick. I carry myself different.
