I dont agree. these people are paid professionals. If they cant do the job they are tasked with then they should be unreservedly held accountable. If a doctor kills a few people cos hes having a bad day we dont preach sympathy we preach revoking his license to practice , the same principle should apply in porn. I don't think it is reasonable to imply a porn guy not getting hard in a scene you paid a few bucks for is on the same level of failure as a man who cost someone their lives. Maybe you take your porn that seriously, and it makes sense. I get the complaint, I just think you are taking it way too seriously. To be frank, the number of men in this world who can perform on a porn set with all the requisite looks, dick size, are a rare breed. And in that small group of men, only a few of them would want to do porn in the first place. It really is slim pickings out there; it is not so easy to replace guys if you start sacking them as much as you suggest. There is a reason the male talent pool is so small and you see the same guys every other scene. It just isn't something that is easy to replace. On the rare time that a director will try a new guy, he usually can't stay hard for 2 hours on a porn set and so the directors remind themselves to not look for new talent and stay with who they know already. Uh, I think you're dramatically overstating the severity of this. Having instances in which a performers starts to go soft in a scene is no way even remotely comparable to a doctor killing a patient. Even some of the most popular male performers have been in scenes where they start to lose their mojo in the middle of the scene. If the industry were to adopt your standards we basically would only be watching porno films with Erik Everhard and Manuel Ferrara.

The unavoidable reality remains that a hard dick is the essential requirement of a male performer and the inability to perform has the same ramifications as attendant upon any other professional artisan unable to perform their chosen skill. We live in a world were a significant portion of porn and pretty much all mainstream porn is reviewed within hours of it being released. You have the ability to find out if scenes don't meet your expectations regardless of what those expectations might be. Vote with your dollars. If you don't like something, don't buy it. More importantly if you do like something then by all means make sure the people responsible for making it get something back. That's how porn and pretty much every entertainment related product works. That said, expecting perfection from this industry is unrealistic. A better comparison to porn performers would be athletes. Guys that are getting paid way more money often go out and lay the occasional egg. But no sane people are out calling for LeBron's job every time he misses a shot. Suggesting they aren't doing there job ignores the fact that their products continue to sell.

Maybe it seems that way; however when faced with cancelling a scene and incurring all those costs for nothing; most people will tread on with the scene and make the best of it. As you keep not reading in my postings, it is very very difficult to find guys who can do this up to the top standard. If you start firing guys, there will be nobody left. Sorry to break it to you, it is a harsh reality.
