I think it's a touchy issue. Some girls may not care, but alot of girls in porn would rather you not know their location or hometown.
The only times I have experienced a positive reaction to this is the porn girls that go on the road to dance. But those girls are keen at promoting themselves, and us their video stardom to obtain feature dancer status and the like.
Also, Playboy probably still sells like 100,000 magazines (or what have you), where a certain porno movie sells significantly less. So even making stickers to put on the DVD would be costly. Maybe a series titled "Dallas amateurs" or "Wild Tapma Girls" would do well in that specific area, but it might possibly alienate other areas, unless the girls were smokin'!
I agree it would help out overall sales of a video in a region, but the girls themselves would have nothing to gain from it. New Fine Arts kicks ass at marketing and has some nice stores, so maybe they could keep track of the featured dancers in the area and start a section.
