The similar topic on the Liberator Sex furniture came up with several responses. Has anyone used the Tantra chair? It isn't a Liberator product. If you haven't seen it, they have their own website. Looks like it would be a lot of fun to use, but a bit pricey. I posted a another message about this chair hoping to see if any porn producers have or might use it as it would make for interesting positions.

I hadn't seen this before, but it looks a lot like the Esse (Liberator) that I bought recently.

I've been looking at the Tantra chair as well. Looks like it could be lots of fun. Nice thing about the Tantra chair is that it's a real piece of furniture, not just a fabric covered piece of foam. I'm thinking it wouldn't be a big deal if anyone happened to see the Tantra chair in our bedroom because we could pass it off as some modern fancy chaise. It is pricey, but I think we'll probably get one once I'm done remodeling our bedroom.

You bought an Esse? Cool. The Esse appeals to me. I know that some people use the Esse for things other than sex, for example, to kick back on while playing a video game or watching a movie. In other words, some people use it as a "kick back" chair for relaxing when they're not using it for sex. (I understand that some people will prop a pillow up behind their head for non-sexual mode activities.)
I'm wondering...could two people kick back and recline on it while watching a movie/listening to music or is it too narrow and too small for two people to sit on? (I'm thinking something along the lines of a psuedo loveseat.) Me I'm 6'2 kinda thin and my girl is tall and thin.

It's great just to lay on and watch tv, but it's really too narrow, I think, for two people to lay on side by side (it's only 24" wide), but for two people to sit on as a loveseat it would work (it's 64" long, so sitting side by side, you'd each have 32"). You just wouldn't be able to recline back. If you had 2 side by side, however, it would be perfect
I have to say this is a really great piece of furniture. It's not obvious at all what it is unless you have the black label covering on

I'm not exactly sure what you mean when you say that it would seat two people side by side love seat style if both people sat on the side of the 64 inch long Esse. I don't understand how two people could sit side by side since there's a deep valley in the middle section of the Esse, an area that's concaved (right where the black pillow is as shown in the picture). Also one end of the Esse is higher than the other. So in that regard it's a little like a roller coaster, lots of ups and downs, and not at all flat like a love seat. Maybe I'm missing something?
As far as it not having any support in the back area, I imagine that I could always place it against a wall or something and add a pillow or two, though of course at this point I'm merely speculating.

Ours came with a mini scoop pillow that fits nicely in that dip, so it's not like you're each sitting on a hump. More like one on the flat part and one on the flat part / lower bump. Here is a pic of it with the mini scoop:

Wow! That looks great! Maybe it would make a half decent, part time, spur of the moment love seat. Of course, since pictures are a little deceiving, I'd (I mean "we") would have to sit on it and take it for a test ride. Thanks for posting a pic, great job, thanks!

Pricey is right, it costs $1100.
It is a great looking piece of furniture though.
One thing I don't like about the videos and the pictures on their website: Many of the images DO NOT SHOW THE FEET OF THE MODEL. This makes me believe that, in some positions, their feet may have been propped up. Which is why they may have hid their feet in those images.
If you think that's malarkey, trivial, or inconsequential, you should first consider the fact that Liberator sells a height booster (the Stage) for its Esse for a very good reason: increased functionality.
Note that the Stage is 9 inches high.
It's nice to have the option of raising or lowering the Esse. You don't have that option with the Tantra chair.
