I remember reading reviews in Hustler for the Heavy Metal series, both got "fully erect" ratings. But I don't buy VHS so I had to wait for #1 to come to DVD, then not too long after that came #2. Jules Jordan has bumped Tom BYron out of my #2 spot of favorite directors. Joey Silvera is still holding the #1 spot. Tom Byron dropped to #3, mainly because Extreme Associates aren't/weren't releases his work regularly, or even of the same quality as earlier DVDs. I can remeber getting my first ever Extreme title, which was Whack Atttack 1, and watching it with an open mouth, then I got LoA 1, and my jaw dropped to the floor. But I don't get that same feeling when I watch an Extreme Associates DVD. The way their DVDs have gone from great to a kick in the nuts isn't the way to go, usually, you go from bad to great.
