I agree we have HD streaming only FOR NOW, but it is false to spread rumors that it's not real HD content because we are unable to provide the download portion in the meantime. Look at the facts: The so called "HD" files on your sites have a resolution of 96 hex 540 and a very low bitrate of 2000 kb/s (I'm not sure exactly but it's definitely very low). This has nothing to do with HD quality! It is DVD quality at best. I can't help but think you don't let people download these files just so they won't see the file sizes because then they would see immediately that what they are getting isn't worthy to be called "HD". When I look at Fame Dollar's sites I see that all of them can be had for $9.99 from sites like thebestporn.com It's clear to me that you have this business model of selling very cheap by trying to keep costs way down (lower server costs by not providing true HD downloads). It's okay to do that of course but it is wrong to lie to your customers like that! [Link] |

EvilAngel wouldn't have partnered with us if our business practices were shady to the point of being accused of being a scam just because it wasn't very clear that our HD content was only available for streaming. Which is why, there are review sites like bestporn.com that clears it up for surfers. I will rest my case for this and rest assured that the HD downloads are being worked on. HD starts at a resolution of 128 hex 720 and your streams are way smaller and the bitrate is way too low for HD. If you'd like to know what the specs ideally should look like I can tell you that for 720p resolution you would need a bitrate of at least 6000 kb/s (preferably more) and for 1080p resolution you would need at least 10 000 kb/s (many companies choose 8000 kb and that's still somewhat okay). This is only if you use h264 for encoding the files. If you use WMV then the bitrates have to be even higher because this codec is less efficient than h264. The downside to this is that it would make your downloads a lot larger and probably raise server costs. I could perfectly understand if Fame Dollars weren't able to provide this but please if you don't then you don't have the right to call your stuff HD! Thanks for listening to my complaints. [Link] |

One of the latest promotion tactics (not worse than promoting to have HD content while providing a bit better than SD quality) is writing " SHOT IN HD " to the cover of the product. If i'm buying a DVD i dont expect to have HD quality ! That said, this isn't falling in deaf ears. Gamma takes feed backs seriously. Again, we may not be able to solve it instantly, but eventually, it will get done. We are in the process of adjusting the button on the player to offer the other formats I am listing below. The 854x480 is not yet available but will be soon enough. WMV small: 36 hex 200 med: 64 hex 356.....addition to current offer big: 854x480.....now, 72 hex 400....this will apply only to HD files, SD will remain 72 hex 400 MP4 small: 36 hex 200.....(will also have Iphone/Ipad button for that format) med: 64 hex 356.....addition to current offer big: 854x480.....now, 72 hex 400 (will also have Ipad button for that format)....this will apply only to HD files, SD will remain 72 hex 400 webHD: 96 hex 544 720p: 128 hex 720.....addition to current offer 1080p: 192 hex 1080.....addition to current offer All files will be available for download and stream except the 720p and 1080p that will be download only to begin with. We are trying our best to have them also available as streaming since people with kickass connection could use them and as soon as 192 hex 1080 are available, the button for mp4 download 1080p will appear.
