Well, there's a hell of a difference in the amount that the pornstars get paid compared to the junkies for a start. The finacial difference goes into the producer's pocket, now that's nothing more than exploitation in anyone's book.

Okay, what would YOU call them? Just because I don't use politically correct terms doesn't mean that I agree with exploiting people. These street people don't want compassion, they want help, and exploiting them to earn a few bucks isn't help but simply morally wrong, in my opinion.

It's nice to see the hypocrisy doesn't just exist with the conservatives about drugs and guns.

There is nothing good about purposefully exploiting those with addictions and mental illness. It's no better than having sex with children who aren't in a position to say nor or even understand what's being done to them.

When I shot heroin and lived on the streets of Chicago(A lifetime ago, it seems now, thankfully), I didn't want help. I wanted money, ie heroin, a place to nod and read my book, and a steady stream of marks in suits with big wallets.

I never had penetrative sex for money, but plenty of handjobs given and taken were a godsend for me at the time. I loved making scratch like that because it was so easy. Fucking perverts.

But now, although I haven't used in five years, make decent money, have a life, blah blah blah all that stuff that is disparaged in the opening monologue of Trainspotting . . . . now, the worst thing someone can do is call me a junky.

There seems to be a thought which goes along the lines of "either you're for porn or against it". With nothing in between.

I believe exploitive porn is wrong. This means that child porn is wrong, even if the kids are enjoying it, learning about life or whatever excuse paedophiles use to justify it. In the same way I think that exploiting mentally ill, retarded or down-and-out people in porn videos is wrong. (I've only seen the intro site but they don't look like fakes to me).

I'm not saying that going with street prostitutes, paying for sex or swapping booze for sex with people who are desperate should be banned, just that those who film it and then use the material for profit are sick and exploiting.

If the street women get paid a few hundred dollars (like main-stream porn actresses) and a kick back from the web-site, then fair enough, but somehow I don't think that's the case.

As for watersports, caviar, S&M, degredation etc. etc. The participants either enjoy it or are getting paid well for their perfomance, which is something completely different.
So: no, finding "crackwhores" being exploited doesn't make me want to ban all porn (otherwise I'd have nothing to jerk off to!) but it does make me angry to find that people's misfortunes, illnesses or situations are exploited to make money.

By the way, get off your high horse, I've been down the bottom too and I didn't want compassion, in fact I didn't want anything but a decent hit. Maybe that's why I object to these people being exploited in order that others (the so-called producers)make money.

i don't find the websites currently in question appealing and generally don't like paying for anything i think crosses the border into cruelty and bullying. realistically, that's all i can really do and the question about how real it is will always be there on sites like that so the talent can take their quarter and call the cops if it's needed.

otherwise, all we're doing here is giving what looks like a lousy bunch of people free and prolonged PR and probably increasing their business by alerting more people to the fact they exist.

it's just running around in circles doing the wrong thing, avoid it if you don't like it and dedicate your energy and resources helping the people you know need it since they're in your backyard somewhere.
