Do the guys compare you? All the time. Who do they say is better? Me of course. I think it's kind of rude when they say "I think you're better than your sister." She is my sister after all. Are you better though? Of course. She knows it. Ask her. So it's OK for you to say that you're better than she is, but it's not OK for guys to say it? That's right. I can say it and she can say it, but other people shouldn't. What makes you better than her? I'm a better performer in general. I am into my scenes and I know how to perform. I once wrote: I often liken Nyla’s foray into adult and her relationship in regards to her performances as compared to her sister to the relationship between another famous pair of porn sisters of asian decent, Jade and Nyomi Marcella. Jade is almost universally regarded as the stronger performer, a legend in her own time. Luci’s not quite a legend and while she started slow, Nyla can’t hold a candle to her when it comes to sex. She will always be seen as the lesser, younger sister, just like Nyomi is doomed to. It’s not from lack of trying, Nyla’s just a little less aggressive and more laid back than her sis... She still seems to be dazed and limited. Click to expand From Sinful Asians 3 review This was another lackluster scene for Nyla. She looks great and I'm sure her pussy feels like a slice of heaven, but she's resistant to anything approaching nasty and never seems to go for her own gusto. The one in particular that I agree with is that Luci herself could stand to improve things about her own performances. It's the old "people in glass houses" adage, I guess you could say. Luci wasn't exactly setting the world on fire in her very first scenes either (Sinful Asians 2, Me Luv U Long Time 5, From Her Ass To Her Mouth or Banana Cream Pie 2) and if you go back and compare her and her sister's early work at the same points in their careers (say, for instance, the first 3-5 months), I personally think Nyla edges her out. Luci was the definition of "passive" back then and I saw her ALOT in the beginning. She didn't even really start to talk or attempt to be pro-active until around Once You Go Black...3. She's only SLIGHTLY better now. It wouldn't take very much for Nyla to surpass her (especially her somewhat lackluster performance in Asia Noir 4). [Link]

She has the looks, but for better or worse, when you see a woman like Kelly Wells come right out of the box doing everything she can to rise to the top, you know Luci doesn't stand a chance in hell. I would just like to see her get totally into the moment in her scenes. Make some demands of her partner and lose some of her passivity. Either way, I think she can stay at the dance as long as she wants. Eye candy never gets passe. [Link]

My reading of Luci's remarks was that she was confident, but obviously only half-serious about remarks regarding her and her sister.
