Luke just told/called it as he saw it and reflected. I think we will miss his insight. How do you know when you are getting information and some truth, when you hit a nerve and people are upset with you. This guy just covered the scene, that is what journalism is or was all about. There are those that would like to just blindly go and come, at least this guy pushed the envelope some. Wait until you see that there is no counter to what he was doing and there is no insight. All those "X" star has left porn stories, stories about performers sad and unhappy experiences in the biz, outings of performers who are (secretly) escorting, and his recent connections with anti-porn crusader Shelly Lubben are evidence of this. Plus, it seems that lately Luke has been physically "confronted" more and more at porn events. And given the out-of-control (violent?) nature of some folks in the biz, his personal safety may be a real concern. All of which brings me to Luke's "contribution" to the biz: unlike other writers with inside access Luke was willing to point out the things that are wrong inside the porn industry. Other porn writers may engage in feuds and fights with companies or people in the industry--but, they will always show blind loyalty to the biz. They are willing to turn a blind eye to any wrong-doing they see in order to keep their access to porn companies, director/producers and performers.
