Pontus Maximus, usually a reliable and accurate and interesting poster, wrote:

"Luke Ford is definitely not his real name. He doesn't go by that name anymore, although people (myself included) usually still refer to him by that name because it is more familiar. You ask just about anybody who is really in the know in the porn industry, and they will confirm this. Hell, if you e-mail Setgo, Jason himself will confirm this. E-mail Wanker Wang at www.lukeford.com and he will confirm what I'm saying."

Jason, the video camera guy behind-the-scenes man, in the Bella Donna interview on setgo.com is a completely different from Luke Ford.

Luke Ford's real name is Luke Carey Ford, DOB 5/28/66, and birth place - Kurri Kurri, NSW, Australia. I will pay $10000 to anyone who shows differently.

Luke Carey Ford has been profiled and prodded and examined and probed in many different publications. Extensive background searches have been run on him. Every attempt to dig up dirt has been run on him (I'm using third person to talk about myself here) already. Nobody has ever shown any other name than Luke Ford (his name on his birth certificate, DL, passport, etc).

Pontus writes: "Luke is also obsessed with the idea that many (if not most) of the porn studios are financied by organized crime. He even makes a reference to this kind of thing in the interview that he just did with Bella. Yet, to the best of my knowledge, he offers no hard evidence to back this up."

Well, there have been numerous posts on this topic with very specific details on setgo.com. Though Luke Ford has been sued three times (one was settled out of court, Luke won other two), none have been over his reporting on OC in porn.

For specifics, the best historical roundup is here:

http://www.lukeford.com/subjects/content/mafia.html

Luke is pretty proud of himself for this as he has taken tremendous flack for this topic. Luke believes he's backed up his thesis nicely on this link (with its links to further information on the topic).

Next to Mafia, Luke is most proud of his job on Adult Video News, in case anyone still gives that organization any credibility:

http://www.lukeford.com/subjects/content/AVN.html

Luke is also proud of this and he believes his outing of Marc Wallice and dogged pursuit of this story while AVN and other wanted to sweep it under the carpet saved lives:

http://www.lukeford.com/subjects/content/AIDS.html

Luke's main pursuit since selling www.lukeford.com in early August, 2001, has been writing a book on Hollywood producers and www.lukeford.net. Luke contributes at times to www.setgo.com.

Luke stayed away from porn for over a year. Luke ran up about $10,000 in bets with various porners that he would stay away from the industry for at least three months. Not one person paid up.

What are Luke's biggest regrets about his time in porn? All those times I was inaccurate, unfair, unduly harsh, mean, and vicious not to mention lazy.

I just wanted to make a shout-out to the excellent administrators of this site. It is superb. Thanks for letting me quote you over the years and for keeping up a vigorous but non-libelous discussion board.

May God bless you in all of your legitimate endeavors.

Yes, Luke, I did miss the boat on some of the information I posted about you (especially that wild goose chase I went on in pursuit of your "real" name). And yes, I hit a new low referring to you as Jason Sechrest. Sheesh! What do they call those, blonde moments?

Anyway, Luke, in my defense, I think I got too caught up trying to get to the bottom of the Bella Donna saga and got sloppy and lazy with some of my comments about you (which weren't meant in a malicious way, contrary to what some might think). (BTW, Luke, I think I might have finally gotten a reasonably good handle on Bella Donna with an updated post to At Last: The Shocking Truth About the REAL Bella!) Had I focused my efforts entirely on you, Luke, perhaps I wouldn't have ended up unwittingly being loose with the facts in pursuit of your "real" name. My apologies and retraction for any and all comments that I made that don't square with the truth.

Yes, Luke, in the past, you yourself have been accused by a great many people throughout the porn industry of operating in a similar slipshod fashion many times (and on numerous occasions, even you have gone on record, as now, admitting that those accusations were true). Plus, how many retractions have you made during your career? Too many to count, I'm sure (and you're a pro, and I'm not). And so, ironically, Luke, my shoddy reporting on you over the weekend, unintentionally, was just life giving you back some of your own medicine. (Let me emphasize further that the tone of what I just wrote was playful, and not pugnacious.)

At any rate, Luke, I used to follow your career very closely back when you operated www.lukeford.com. You were often riveting. I've always found you a very fascinating and enigmatic figure, Luke, delightfully filled with conflicts and contradictions of almost every sort. I mean this as the highest compliment because, quite frankly, I'm the same way myself. And while I was occasionally put off by your nefarious tendancy to "rat" on the adult industry to the mainstream media, still, I just couldn't stay away from your website (that is, until you sold www.lukeford.com).

And regarding organized crime in porn:

Thanks for the link, Luke. Looks like I've got some interesting reading to catch up on.

I am pleased, Luke, that you have decided to post here at Adult DVD Talk (though your choosing to do so as "deepundercover" and writing in the third person continues to embellish your mysterious reputation). But then again, I'm Pontus Maximus. What rock did he crawl out from?

~Pontus Maximus~

If you're amenable to the idea, Luke, perhaps you'll grant me the pleasure of conducting an e-mail interview with you (that is, if I can ever get myself to get around to it, what with all of the smut I need to get to first).

For the record, I want to make it clear that my reference to "blonde moments" was not a jab at Dumblonde. I was still composing my response to Luke when DB posted. The comment is also not intended as a slur against blond/blonde people, whom I adore.

And if I have ever offended anyone, anywhere, anytime, for any reason whatsoever, or rode roughshod over the truth, then here and now, I would like to make a retraction.

Dude, you're too much! Trust me, I'm not offended and didn't take it personally. In fact, I was going to post something disparaging about people who 'welch' on their bets, but I'm not sure that the term isn't a slur and with my luck, would probably offend someone.

Uh, hey Luke, I have a few questions for you regarding your interview with Bella Donna.

1. Did you yourself conduct that interview?

2. If you didn't conduct it, who did?

3. How exactly did that interview come about?

4. Why did Bella Donna, a world renown porn star, choose the very obscure Setgo to react to the ABC Primetime show, rather than the very well-known Adult Video News, from which she had just received an award?

5. The information at Setgo indicates that the interview took place at Jill Kelly Productions. Bella works for Sineplex. Is there any reason why Bella was shooting a scene at JKP?

6. You mentioned that Jason is "the behind-the-scenes camera guy" at JKP. Then why does he also participate in the interview and ask Bella questions in the same style as you do?

7. Is Jason one of your imaginary friends (a la Chaim Amalek?).

8. Is the Bella Donna interview imaginary, also?

9. If the interview is not imaginary, can you prove it?

Questions for anyone who works at Jill Kelly Productions (to corroborate what Setgo reported during the Bella Donna Interview):

1. Did Luke Ford or someone else from Setgo interview Bella Donna there at 11:00 a.m. this past Friday?

2. Did Bella Donna shoot a scene over there around that same time and day?

3. Was Bud Lee shooting a scene for a movie called LatinX there at JKP at the same time that Setgo was interviewing Bella Donna?

4. Did the Bud Lee movie feature stars named Jezebel Bonde and Talon?

5. Is there a cameraman who works there with the first name of Jason?

Question for Dion at Red Light District Video to corroborate what Setgo reported:

Does Bella Donna's sister work there as an office manager?

Would you like to respond to Setgo's claim that Red Light District Video is funded by organized crime?

I would also appreciate it if some of my fellow ADTers look into getting the Jill Kelly Productions questions answered directly from JKP as a personal favor to me.

Just trying to determine for sure if this is real or if someone's been blowing smoke up our asses.

Belladonna Responds To ABC TV's Primetime
by D.U.C. (send email to D.U.C.)

Belladonna was embarrassed and ashamed of the documentary and the way she came across.

AVN's Mark Kernes reacts with fury to the documentary here.

Mike Mike Quasar writes www.simplyjimmyd.com: "Anyone who gives this girl a job in the future should be brutally beaten with a bag of hammers. Her performance last night makes Alexandria Quinn's Hard Copy performance of a decade earlier look like an infomerical by comparison. I shot Bella twice and at no time did she indicate to me that her "smile" was a facade. At no time did she mention that her deeply religious mother was disappointed in her. It was indeed difficult to ascertain her troubled history while she was yelling "fuck me harder you fuck!!!!" May Bella Donna be relegated to the only thing she is truly qualified for; collecting public assistance."

What Mike and other porners don't get is that people are different around different people. Belladonna the porn star is a different person to the girl away from porn, be Michelle alone with her family or with Diane Sawyer. People are complex even when they're porn stars and they liked to get f---ed hard on camera.

I walk in to the Jill Kelly Productions set at 11AM. Bud Lee is shooting another scene for the movie LatinX. It features Jezebel Bonde, as white as they come, and a muscular Puerto Rican named Talon. Bond has severe toothache and a swollen face. She and Talon do their scene on bar stools.

"That's why they call it work," says director Bud Lee.

Jason, the behind-the-scenes camera guy, and I step outside with Belladonna.

Jason: "This is the day after we saw your program Primetime. They chopped you up."

Bella: "Yeah, they chopped me up a lot. They didn't let me finish. There were certain things I said and then afterwards I said something else. Those parts weren't even shown.

"They made a lot of things up. I was never waiting for a contract from anyone. There were so many things they added."

DUC: "Did you apply for a contract at VCA?"

Bella: "No. Never. The whole mailbox thing. I was checking my mail one day and they were recording me. I wasn't waiting for a contract in the mail. I never wanted a contract because I knew I could make more money doing my own thing.

"This is embarrassing. There was so much cut-out."

DUC: "What about your mother wanting to be your personal assistant on a series?"

Belladonna: "When I got my series, I told her that I wanted her to come work for me. I'd love to be able to take care of my Mom. She's a great worker. I brought her out here and I gave her $5000 cash and appointed her my production manager. I was going to pay her $5000 every month.

"But the money I was promised at first to do my own series got changed. Everything went wrong and she ended up going back [to Utah]."

Jason: "Did you actually send your sister to college?"

Bella: "I paid for most of her college. She's graduated. She was in Washington [State]. She had two part-time jobs. She said she didn't have enough money for school. So I was like, I will pay you to work for me.

"She said, 'What do you want me to do?' I said, 'I don't know. Whatever you want.' I sent her money every month. She was supposed to be working for me. She went to tax classes so she could do my taxes for me.

"Now I've got her a job out here. She's office manager for Red Light Video. She's the blonde girl. She's amazing. She's so talented. She would never do porno. She's the opposite of me."

Dion's Red Light District Video, like many porn companies, is funded by organized crime, in particular, by Dion's brother's gambling operation out of Costa Rica.

Jason: "Don't you think they took the worst things. They were following you for two years. Because you're young and you are new in the business, you are not going to be very stable in what you want."

Bella: "Ohmigod, I still am not."

Doesn't it make you feel morally clean that pornography depends on the consent of emotionally unstable girls who do not know what they want? Terrific, we're all absolved because they consent.

Jason: "They took the most negative things about you and portrayed them out of context..."

DUC: "As most journalists do..."

Bella: "She talked about those times when I thought about suicide or depression... Those are things I've been dealing with since I was a child, before I got into this industry. You're asking me a question and I'm giving you the honest to God truth but you're not showing the honest to God truth."

Belladonna was most anxious yesterday to say she hadn't said anything bad about the industry to ABC and she's even more anxious today to reiterate her point.

Bella: "It wasn't because of porno. Porno just happened to be a part of that.

"Diane Sawyer didn't do anything. She did that one interview of me. That was the only time I ever met her. So all her crew was doing all her stuff. I just think it's embarrassing."

DUC: "Who's your friend who came out from Utah and you got her into the porn industry?"

Belladonna: "Gia. She's gorgeous. [ABC blocked out her face] because she didn't want to do porno and she didn't want her face used. She didn't even want to be on camera. She was only in porn for two months.

"She came out here. She needed a job. The only thing I know out here is porno. You don't have to do it. I would never ask you to do it. That's the only help I can give you.

"At first I got her to do girl-girl stuff. Then she on her own decided to do boy-girl and anal. She wanted money fast."

Jason: "That original 12-prisoner gangbang [for Anabolic], was that disturbing for you?"

Bella: "Yeah. I didn't want to do it. I told my agent [Roy Garcia?] at least four or five times, I didn't want to do it. Then I had the owner of the company [Christopher Alexander aka Biff Malibu] begging me to do it. Begging me. Begging me. I don't know how many times I told him I didn't want to do it.

"I was on my period. I was leaving that night to go to Seattle to visit my sister. And he just kept on. I'm the kind of person who has the personality where I just give in. Ok, ok. I'm a people pleaser."

Jason: "Have you gone past that? Do you know not to give in to what you don't want?"

Bella: "I'm still working on it. My problem is that I am a people pleaser. I want to give everyone what they want."

Jason: "I need some pleasing. Could you help me out?"

DUC: "She is. She's giving you an interview."

Jason: "That's not what I'm talking about.

"You went to the wrong location this morning. What's up with that?"

Bella: "My mind is gone right now."

Jason: "Because of last night?"

Bella: "Yeah, that and I had 30 million messages on my answer machine."

Duc: "What have people been saying?"

Bella: "They were calling me before I even saw it because they saw it on the East Coast. They said, 'Ohmigod, I love you. I thought it was just great. I was so happy. I was crying.'

"I said, 'Well, I hope it looked good.' I don't know."

DUC: "It was heartbreaking."

Bella: "It was disappointing. It wasn't all the things that I felt every day. It was just that one time [when she broke down]."

Jason: "What would you like to set straight?"

Bella: "I wish that you could see the whole story. My experience in porno is my own experience and I never blamed anything on this industry. I never wanted anyone to help me get out of this business."

DUC: "Suppose your mother would've come to LA, put you in handcuffs and taken you home to Utah. How would you have reacted?"

Bella: "I probably would've fought her the whole way. Even if my Mom would've come to try to stop me, I would've done this anyway. I'm that kind of person. I have to find out things for myself."

DUC: "Did you hear from your Dad?"

Bella: "No. I don't really talk to him much. My Dad's always been supportive. I don't know what my Mom was saying on that tape. Of course he was probably embarrassed. My Dad has always been the first one to come to me. 'Whatever you need. I love you. You're a great person.'

"I've done lots for my whole family. I'm the one who paid for Christmas last year. I'm the one who brought my sister out to Christmas because she couldn't afford it.

"Everyone was always like, 'You're never going to be smart. You will never get a job.' Well, look who's supporting everyone now? The people who were saying I would never have a good job don't have good jobs."

Jason: "You can only criticize the hand that feeds you so much. You're bringing a better life to them."

Bella: "not only that, but I think I'm a pretty damn good person. I think I treat people nicely. Porno has nothing to do with anyone's personality."

Jason: "What do you see for yourself?"

Bella: "I see a bright future."

Jason: "How much more do you want to accomplish in this business?"

Bella: "In six months, I will be done. But I will always have my website and my live webcam. I want people to see what my life is like."

DUC: "Are you in therapy?"

Bella: "I was in a hospital for a year straight when I was younger. When I was twelve, fourteen... I've always had a lot of problems. I had my first boyfriend when I was 15. He was 22. I've always liked older men."

Jason: "Have you thought about regular therapy?"

Bella: "Yes, I'd love to have someone to talk to, at least once a week. I'd love to get on a medication. It's not that I have huge problems but I have low self esteem. I have manic depression. I'm bipolar. I have ADHD. I was diagnosed with all these since I was a little girl."

Jason: "You have the money. Why don't you do it?"

Bella: "Sometimes you just get caught up in other things. I was dealing with relationship problems. Now I'm definitely going to do something about it."

DUC: "Did you cry while watching the show?"

Bella: "I didn't cry. I was laughing. Ohmigod. I was embarrassed. I was hiding my face from my friends. It was so embarrassing. They'd say one thing, like, Michelle has chlamydia. Who doesn't?"

DUC to Jason: "Do you have chlamydia?"

Jason: "I've never had an STD."

DUC: "Neither have I."

Bella: "If you haven't, it's probably because you've protected yourself. A lot of people out there have probably had it more times than I have. I never had an STD until I got into this business, when I was 19 years old."

Jason: "I'd like to take a shot at getting one from her."

Bella: "It sucks man. You don't go out looking for this."

DUC: "Diane Sawyer made a good point that you always smile."

Bella: "I always do."

Jason: "A defense mechanism."

Bella smiles: "Constantly. You got me on that one."

DUC: "We need to ask the question like Diane Sawyer did."

Jason: "We're not going to make her cry."

Bella: "I really am a happy person. It's when I'm by myself and I start to think about things I've done in my life, that's when I become depressed. I didn't know what I wanted for my future. I need change all the time. That's the whole ADD [Attention Deficit Disorder] thing.

"My goal for the year is to buy a house and be happy and that's it."

DUC: "What was that with Nacho slapping you?"

Bella: "That was for a movie. I liked that."

DUC: "You didn't look like you were enjoying it."

Bella: "I really was. I like the adrenalin rush. It's like role-playing when I have sex [on camera]. That's not who I am. In porno I've done everything. I need something to really make me go crazy. Nacho had the power to make me go crazy."

DUC: "How did Chris Alexander [owner of Anabolic] treat you after the gangbang?"

Bella: "I really was upset. I was balling. I was crying. I was downstairs in the shower room [in the prison]. It was real [prison]. He comes down. I'm in the shower crying. And he's [oblivious]. He didn't even pay attention to the fact that I was crying. He walked out.

"I didn't really want him to say anything to me because why would I want him to say anything to me? He basically fu--ing begged me to do this."

DUC: "Is this the worst experience you had in the industry?"

Bella: "It's the only bad experience I've had in the industry. I've had little things happen to me. That was the only time I cried."

DUC: "There was another time, when you went to Prague, that you got all beat up."

Bella: "Oh no. That was my skin. Did you see it? I was all beat up. My skin was really bad for a long time. They had the cameras on me the whole time and none of the time I looked good. I looked beat up. I had just had sex. I had five different loads on my face. I had pimples everywhere."

Jason: "Like Lola did yesterday after her scene."

Belladonna runs off to do her scene.[/quote]

Hey guys, thanks for the welcome.

* Who is Jason - He does the behind the scenes video for DVDs. Thus he interviews everyone. I often just follow him around on sets. We get along well.

* Sure you can email me and do an interview... Contact me at hanka444ataoldotcom

Pontus writes: I have a few questions for you regarding your interview with Bella Donna.

1. Did you yourself conduct that interview?

YES

2. If you didn't conduct it, who did?

3. How exactly did that interview come about?

I AM INVITED ON MANY SETS, AND JUST HAPPENED TO BE ON SET WITH BELLADONNA THE DAY OF THE PRIMETIME AIRING AND THE DAY AFTER.

4. Why did Bella Donna, a world renown porn star, choose the very obscure Setgo to react to the ABC Primetime show, rather than the very well-known Adult Video News, from which she had just received an award?

BECAUSE I WAS THERE AND AVN WASN'T.

5. The information at Setgo indicates that the interview took place at Jill Kelly Productions. Bella works for Sineplex. Is there any reason why Bella was shooting a scene at JKP?

I DUNNO. THE SHOOTS TOOK PLACE AT PRIVATE HOMES.

LOTS OF PEOPLE WERE AROUND TO WITNESS IT, INCLUDING REMI WHO POSTS HERE.

Yes, he does the behind the scenes for JKP and Sin City among others.
No one from AVN was there. Luke and I were the only ones from the "porn press" that could be classed as writers. The rest were photographers from various magazines.

AVN was too busy shooting themselves in the foot by doing that whole rambling, un-focused response to Prime Time Live, capping it off with the statement that made me boil. "Mainstream has better writers..." Gee thanks.

I do not know for sure, but I believe Bella Donna is not under contract with any one company in particular. She's free to do any one's films. Plus, its not unprecedented for companies to let contract girls do movies for other companies.

Regardless she was on two JKP movies back to back. Latin X and Entice Me. My own On the Set report about both of these will be running in the coming months on Pornstarempire.com
Luke was there. I was there. I think I was standing about oh, a foot away from Luke as he was conducting the interview. I heard most of Bella Donna's answers and responses to Prime Time Live.

No. On the first day she was in a threeway with Billy Glide and Dee. On the second it was a really good boy girl with Dillion.

LOL, now I guess every one has to prove their existance, and the fact that they are not Luke Ford. Ask Diesel who posts from time to time.

We both freelance with DVD Empire, and he's actually seen me and Luke Ford at the same time, in seperate bodies.

What ? Diesel´s also a Luke Ford´s pseudonym as well? Oboy, now that´s confusing!
Nah. It could be a hired lookalike. Or a clone. Or a robot. Or a mannequin dummy with a funny wig. You don´t fool us!

That's surprising, Remi. It was my understanding that Bella was engaged to Nacho Vidal and that, because of his jealousy, coupled with Bella's health concerns regarding working with men, she was going to work from now on exclusively with other women. I thought that was the whole point of Bella's girl-girl line, Bella's Perversions.

I guess the very nature of many porn stars is that they're in constant flux.

For what its worth it is my understanding that the site luke ford started LUKEFORD.COM has been sold at least 1-2 times in the last year or so, and is not even run or commented on by the "real" luke ford anymore

From what I hear it was sold for a small fee so he could retire and attain his goal of jewish dignity. Now some other guys are running it and using the name Luke Ford for its cache value

IMHO I miss the old days of Luke's posting to today's rants and biased gossip but thats just my 2cents - I could be wrong

vidreview,

Welcome to the site! Hope you stick around...

Just so you know, we're way ahead of you. Deepundercover--the person who initiated this particular thread is, in fact, Luke Ford... the very same person who started the Lukeford.com website. He now runs Lukeford.net, which has nothing to do with porn, but he also still contributes his stream of consciousness writings about porn regularly to setgo.com under the alias D.U.C. There are a number of threads here on ADT, that when read altogether will give you the whole story.

Anyway, welcome again! We're glad you joined us.
