I love Ang Lee's movies (yeah, even Hulk, a brilliant, underrated movie) and so I couldn't miss Lust, Caution. I'd heard all about the sex scenes but they still took me by surprise, they were sexy and provocative, and I believe that Tony Leung and Tang Wei are really fucking. This is how sex scenes should be shot.
However I should warn people who haven't seen the movie and just want to see the sex that you have to wait a long time for the sex scenes, and the movie's ending (spoiler) is about as depressing as you can get.
Still, this is a great movie and I urge everyone who loves movies to see it. I can only pray that this movie doesn't ruin Tang Wei's acting career.

I missed this when it played the theatres, I'll have to catch it on DVD.

While I found "BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN" to be wildly overrated and a bit sloppy (IMHO) in terms of the filmmaking, I concur with Pil's assessment of "LUST, CAUTION." Those who seek it out will be able to enjoy Ang Lee working at the very top of his craft. This film is a classic on par with "CASABLANCA," with an erotic story of grass-roots espionage during World War II re-imagined for our troubled age of paranoia, incitement and loss of compassion for our fellow man.

Anyone remember Daphne Zuniga? She was in Melrose Place; always a PG rated girl. Then I saw her in some movie where she gets it from behind and it's HOT (savagely provocative) -- sometimes I think NOT seeing everything (ala a mainstream movie like LUST CAUTION) can be just as hot, no?
