Maybe it's the way you worded this; but, I'd be hesitant to tip the minute I felt I was getting "hustled". I understand you want people to tip and not put on a free show with which I have no problem. But, use the word hustle, I have images of the old bar girl champagne cocktail Scam/hustle/ruse.

Maci, you're a good kid, just starting out in your first jobs. By the time you reach my age of 60, you'll look back to see you may have had many different jobs in your life. Some good. Some bad.
I've delivered newspapers, painted houses, swept hallways in schools, worked at a car wash, picked up dead bodies in SanFrancisco harbor, worked on an assembly line for General Motors, worked tobacco fields, worked hay fields, climbed inside a huge bottle washing machine, among broken glass, to replace bottle brushes, worked building furniture, worked as a mechanic at a gas station and worked for a Sheriff Department. I like the saying "I was looking for a job when I found this one".
I'm telling this to you in the hope you won't let hard times get you down. Keep your chin up. You'll find work. Just keep looking. There's lots of other jobs besides a career in porn.

Please update us on what is coming up. I would like to buy some of the scenes as I have enjoyed some of your prior ones. I thought you had vanished.
Thanks

I've seen a couple of Maci's scenes and think she is highly underrated. Her Private Society scene exceeded my expectations. I love a girl with an amazing booty, and she has one of the best. The anal/extreme stuff is not my cup of tea, but I hope to see her in future projects that are more to my taste.
If you're reading this Maci, you have a passionate and engaging onscreen personality I personally enjoy. I hope you continue to get booked, and hope 2017 is a banner year for you in all your endeavors.

Well I'm still here, still alive and kicking. My name doesn't look to be causing much of a buzz at all. I'm not getting any mainstream opportunities to spread my name out there and it's really frustrating.
Why for the love of god don't Reality Kings, Wicked, New Sensations, Naughty America, Teen Fidelity, HardX, DarkX, Mike Adriano, Nubiles, ArchAngel etc don't want to shoot me?
I'm at my wits end, literally.
I'll update when I find out if I have new stuff coming out.
I shot a scene for Bang.com back in June and it STILL hasn't been released. You can definitely reach out to bangtwts on twitter to inquire about it- it's a major scene for me because John strong, James deen, Markus dupree and mr pete were in it AND it was a DP scene

It's because I don't have the "right look" for companies.
All any company wants nowadays is to shoot pretty young blonde 100lb 5 ft girls with no tattoos and gorgeous symmetrical faces. They call it the "girl next door look".
Well, it's 2017 and I can tell you with certainty that the girl next door has tattoos and piercings.
Unfortunately the majority of the demographic that still pays for porn is stuck in a 1950's mentality when it comes to the look of girls in porn.
Quite frankly, it smacks of pedophilia because women that look grown (unless they're MILFS) aren't getting the work that girls who barely look 18 are getting.
I'm SOL because not only do I have tattoos- I don't look 18 and I'm curvy (not fat) with red hair and brown eyes.
I could have the best performances in the world but it don't mean a thing when the very companies you want to showcase your talent with don't even look twice at you.
*sigh*

As of now I'm considering quitting porn
There are too many girls and not enough shoots. And yes I'm not relying solely on shoot for income- this isn't about income mostly- it's about my porn career and shooting for mainstream companies that will give me the exposure I need.

I've been trying and trying to promote myself- going with different agencies etc.

It will be a year in April since I started doing adult and I've probably only done about 10 shoots total mainstream. This is coming from a young white girl who enjoys anal and wants to get booked for hardcore and DP stuff as well.

I had ten shoots my first month of doing porn. Since then, I'm lucky to get 3 shoots a month and most of these shoots are amateur shoots for clips sites, not professional productions which means I'm doing my own hair and makeup and also providing my wardrobe for these shoots.
Actually I haven't worked for a mainstream production since last September which should tell you something since it's February now.
I don't need 5 mainstream shoots a week- ideally 2 a week is good for me.
But apparently I don't have the "right look" for companies.
All any company wants nowadays is to shoot pretty young blonde 100lb 5 ft girls with no tattoos and gorgeous symmetrical faces. They call it the "girl next door look".

Why for the love of god don't Reality Kings, Wicked, New Sensations, Naughty America, Teen Fidelity, HardX, DarkX, Mike Adriano, Nubiles, ArchAngel etc don't want to shoot me?

Every other new girl I know has shot with most of these companies, even if she's no longer in the biz. These girls have had MUCH more opportunity than me.

I'm a hard worker and a great performer. I don't get it. Last September I tried emailing producers myself and getting work but no one took me seriously and they actually made fun of me for doing it.

Yes I've been with three agencies and they all play favorites- 101 modeling (which booked me for all my stuff in june and then suddenly stopped booking me work to focus on the girls in the "upper half" of their roster), VIP connect (which everyone hates shy love apparently because she owes lots of people money and the only thing they were able to book me for was a private), foxxx modeling (Chris is nice but he didn't try hard enough to get me work and released me from his agency without me even knowing until I went on his site and didn't see my picture on there anymore).

And now I'm with Black Rose who actually has been very nice, upfront and courteous with me but they mostly focus on Florida bookings and have only been able to get me amateur stuff here (and not that much of it), not that knocking their agency, it's actually very underrated.

Every other agency- nexxt level, oc modeling, la direct, ATM la, motley, hussie, society 15 has rejected me.

The advice I did get from people, while good seemed patronizing. "You need to webcam" was the most common response I got followed by, "shoot your own content and sell it on manyvids/clips4sale".

Look, I'm totally down for shooting content but at the end of the day I need to pay the bills before I focus on selling online content. I shoot content when I can afford it, which nowadays is rare. Male talent like Chris Strokes will hit me up on twitter and want to shoot content with me for free, instead of paying me to shoot.

I'm tired, poor and quite frankly feel ugly and not good enough for porn. Which makes me think porn would be better off without me because clearly there's no room for intelligent talent who doesn't fuck off camera in this industry. Who has a business sense about them.

I'd love to produce my own stuff but I don't have the resources or connections to make that happen.

Porn as we know it is dying and it's because producers/directors shoot what THEY want and what makes THIER dicks hard, not what the fans want. Not all producers of course, but most.

The status quo hasn't changed a bit in 5 years and I highly doubt it's going to change anytime soon.

Hi Maci
Since you let it out in a direct manner, I will respond to some of your comments.
You have many valid points, however, I am going to contend with you on a few things in hopes you see other perspectives...
I have to contend with you saying companies only want to shoot 100 pounders with no tats. Yes, there is a huge market for that "barely legal" look.. no question. However, the most popular performers right now in the business come from a wider range. Just some examples, Jasmine Jae and Veronica Avluv are on fire and they are over 30, Romi Rain is on the A list and she has lots of tatoos, the recent POTY nominee list had a lot of curves, butts, boobs, thick legs, and body fat (nice body fat!). The winner does not fit into the "barely legal" look at all. London Keyes, while not shooting as much now, is still one of the most well known in the world and she has lots of tats... Lisa Ann was , not to long ago, without question the most popular porn performer on the planet. What I am saying is there are markets for everything, and the "barely legal" market may sell well well however very few of the girls in that niche hit the top of the profession.
I am not sure why it is patronizing for people to suggest webcams or making your own clips. There are a lot of girls making 6 figure incomes on Chaturbate that have tattoos, are curvy, older, and everything in between. I contend you could do well there if you followed the right path and build up a following over 6 months (Like any new business venture, you have to work for little money for a while to build up your customer base). The ones that do well treat it like a job, have a schedule, and in between the sexual fun they just talk with people... it engages people and keeps them coming back. Fetish scenes like dildos, DP's, facials, etc sell well on clips when they are from "amateurs". This is not patronizing advice, it is offering you a path to make money with your sexuality.
Look, porn is not doing very well commercially. There are more girls than ever wanting to get into porn, and fewer scenes being made than years ago. Even top names are lucky to get more than a half dozen scenes in a month so they make money other ways (websites, webcam, phone sex, club dancing, escorting). For every Maci May there are a 100 others who got one scene and didn't get called again. It is unfortunate.
While I do believe, and many people here at ADT would agree, you have all the goods to have made a career in porn. Unless there is something in the background , it is a mystery to me and anyone else. I have seen some of your work and enjoyed it and would buy more if it came out. However, if people aren't booking you, then take matters into your own hands. There have been things written about the future in porn, and girls looking to make a career out of paid commercial scenes is a dying model. There needs to be other methods of income that the control, and a way to build up their own brand.
If you did the exact same thing you are doing now, in 2004, you would be getting 25+ scenes a month. Sadly, those days are gone.
Hope you find success in whatever path you take in the future.

I must be in the minority then. I still pay for porn and I think you look hot. I'm a sucker for read heads, curves and body art.
I've never heard of you before reading your most recent post. If things do turn around for you; you get more work in porn then I hope that you'll do more solo and hardcore g/g scenes in the near future.
Trust that things will work out for you even if you decide it's time to move on from the industry. Think positively and focus on what truly makes you happy

I'm a long-time lurker on these forums, but just joined partly to comment here:
Honestly, I feel that you airing out every detail about how you're not getting work on twitter is hurting you more than it helps. Maybe I'm wrong and this is commonplace; I don't really follow the porn world on twitter (I stick to blogs and forums). Still, I feel you putting it out there that you're desperate for work will mostly get you lowball offers. After all, you did just mention how male talent is trying to get you to work for free (which I didn't even know was a thing; maybe I just don't know the industry?).
I don't have any "fixes" for the twitter thing, as once something's tweeted, it's kind of out there forever. This is just my take on it. I could be wrong all the way, and Twitter has nothing to do with you not getting work. Hell, I don't know WHY you're not getting work (you're very hot to me). But looking at your twitter feed when you're talking about this stuff feels like watching you drive towards a giant pothole in the road. Might not screw things up long term, but it doesn't help either.

I read your twitter rants. It seems like you want to be the "it" girl that does 30 scenes a month with the same 5 guys on all the top sites but refuse to face the reality that mainstream porn is a boys club. It's about who you know behind the scenes and who you fuck behind the scenes. Multiple persons offer solutions to your problems such as camming, escort, clips4sale, stripping etc. but you come up with excuses. Well known talent agencies & popular sites don't want to work with you, now what? you go niche/fetish/bsdm but it seems you don't want to. You have 3 holes available, you shouldn't be struggling for money/work but you want to apart of the "it" crowd aka the cool kids but after begging for work since august, you still don't get that they don't want you in their club. So you start your own club, adapt or die. LA is expensive, many girls have moved to Las Vegas. Don't end up like Yahoo, once valued at $100Billion, got offered $45 billion by Microsoft then ending up selling for $4 billion. Don't be a yahoo, don't wait until it's too late.

^^^^^You made this post here, on xbiz, and twitter. I think that's a big mistake. You made some inflammatory posts about talent agents and performers. Delete these posts, file for unemployment, go to local social services to see what benefits you are entitled to if money is running short and regroup. You have an infinite number of opportunities in life than being a sex worker. It certainly isn't the end of the world. Good luck.

Let me first say that I'm one of those guys that prefers that a performer has few if any tattoos but I can usually overlook the small ones if they are hard to spot. The kinds of tattoos that I tend to classify as impossible to overlook are the partial to complete sleeves, huge back tattoos, front thighs, any near the pussy and lastly any on or around the breasts. Now having one or multiple of these will not automatically mean that I avoid watching that performers content but it often makes it much harder for me to enjoy the scene.
You my dear Maci happen to have the rather large colorful partial sleeve on the right arm and a fairly big upper left should blade back tattoo. Now the back tattoo would not have been an issue for me because it's much harder to see it but the sleeve isn't and worse you added significantly more color to it after you were in the industry. That's not a criticism so much as an observation. I respect your choice of body art but if none of the agency you worked for told you that large tattoos were going to make their job harder than you now know that it does. There are two things in porn that seem to always make the future of a porn performer better or worse. It's tattoos and implants. Choosing to get either or both will greatly affect the kind of career you will have. It sucks that your decisions limit your career choices but that's life. You happen to have chosen to work in an industry where appearance is very important. Don't think you are alone or the first. Call me weird but as talented as I believe Angelina Jolie happens to be. I don't think she would be where she is today if she had had as many tattoos when she started in the industry as she does now. Talent and willingness to try new things can quickly open doors that your appearance will close just as fast.
The harsh reality is that the porn industry of today is a mere shadow of the one from just a decade ago and therefore making a decent living from working in it is in my opinion next to impossible. There are simply too few job offers and too many girls fighting for the same jobs. Most girls barely make it past the 6 to 12 month period before disappearing so if you choose to leave the industry or are pushed out because of circumstances being what they are than I wish you the best of luck in whatever comes after porn. Remember that it was always going to be a short no matter how you looked. As long as you leave with your health and your happiness than the rest is not all that important.

Pat, the tattoos are not the issue at large. There are several highly rated and popular performers that have a lot of tattoos (Romi Rain is just one prime example, Bonnie Rotten was a massive hit for 2 years and she had more tats than exposed skin, London Keys is not shooting much now, but is one of the most popular on the planet and just did a huge tour and make a killing escorting and she has lots of tats).
Maybe you don't like them, maybe others at ADT dont.. however, that is not the reason Maci can only get 13 scenes in a year.
It's a mystery to me.. as another poster said, this is an old boys club... they either like you or they don't and that is that. Some of it has to do with whether you are open to fucking off camera or not... established girls can start to say no.. new ones will not get called back most of the time. Also, saying repeat times "Why is nobody booking me" generally leads to doom.
There are methods to make money doing porn that do not involve waiting for the phone to ring from commercial porn studios. I hope she takes them up one day.
Maci, I like you. I think you are a very good performer, you are great looking, good energy, and a quality woman. I have spent money to get your scenes so this is not lip service. However, if the porn studios won't play ball with you, you have to create your own success some other way. A also know you may feel alone and being the only one treated this way.... i can assure you there are a ton of girls who shoot a handful of scenes in LA or Florida and disappear because they can't find work. For every Holly Hendrix that broke in, there are 100 girls in your position. You are not alone. How you deal with it is what makes a difference.
Filming studio produced porn is not a very good career option anymore and I would recommend to girls to not bother with it...... if they want to make money with their sexuality build the webcam audience. It is rare someone joining studio based porn will net more than a Subway Sandwich Artist does once expenses and taxes are paid. Heck, look at Juelz Ventura..... A list level performances, a large following, hundreds of scenes, and she can barely get a phone call these days. She decided to go to Vegas and parlay that name into money dancing at the Rhino and doing private companionship. Evil Angel puts her in their booth at the recent show, yet none of their directors are calling her for work. You are not alone in being unable to get work so don't get too down.

Bonnie Rotten had both, and didn't even really pace her career (except in the case of IR) like pornstars are expected to, yet she was an immense success. Why was she so successful? Was it that she was thin? Were her abilities as a performer (including her squirting) uniquely impressive? Did not pacing her career actually benefit her? Did she just have a good handle on the business? It's really hard to answer any of these questions from the outside. Perhaps she had so many tattoos that viewers who would otherwise view ink as a blemish just saw them as part of her skin. I can only guess.

Most of the biggest porn performers in the world over the years are ones with implants (ADT audience is just a tiny fraction of the tastes out there, and AVN POTY awards don't always reflect mainsream buying). Implants are not a detriment to women getting work even if they are not well received in a forum such as this one.
Who is hot and well know on a world level? Romi Rain, Jasmine Jae, Nikki Benz, Lisa Ann (even though she is retired), Asa Akira (still a huge name even though ADT has ignored her due to condoms)...those are some of the bigger names and they all have implants.
Before you go "what about this one who is natural!!"... I am not saying only implants work or don't. I am saying , they are not a detriment and in more cases than not, are a reason someone is rising above the crowd.
Anyone who says a girl isn't getting booked because she has implants is wrong. Same goes with tattoos..... for someone like Maci, those may be the excuses people give her... however, there are enough examples out there to show otherwise. She just hasn't "got in the door" as hundreds of other well meaning girls also experience. Sad for someone so eager and so good at what she does.

I deleted my tweets.
I am just frustrated and have no one to vent to.
Everyone in the adult industry seems very self absorbed and unwilling to show newbies the ropes.
It's sink or swim and very few recruiters tell girls that when they enter the industry.
I was told by my recruiter I could make up to $20k my first month. I made $500.

You named one of the only performers to have large amounts of tattoos all over her body and implants who actually had a very good run in the industry but that is still one fish in a large ocean of women like Maci who can never go far because of their body art. The vast majority of the women starting in porn with large tattoos and/or multiples ones tend to be relegated to sites like Burning Angel.
I wish I could tell you why Bonnie made it while so many others never do but I frankly don't know. If you know than please tell us because I'm sure that girls like Maci would love to know how to get producers to hire them.

This part of your post is 90% right here.
Yes, it's like there's just new truckloads of girls "off the bus" as they say, every day.
It's the law of supply and demand. And traditionally, demand used to translate into dollars. That is no longer the case, unfortunately.

Nina Hartley has this 14 Rules For a Newbie, which should be posted in every agency's offices.

I recall she also did a video featuring much of this very same advice, that some (but by no means all) agencies would show to young girls who would show up to audition. It would be great if that could be posted on YouTube. It wasn't explicit in the least.
Unfortunately, as to the promises of $20K, -- and this goes for ANY field of endeavor -- if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is.
And that's not to say it's a bad thing that you tried; it's just that it's important to realize the potential roadblocks and the competition in this industry before entering into it.
Best of luck with whatever you decide.

Another big problem is that on many platforms and sites you have girls just giving it away for free. There are many amateurs doing their own thing for no visible reward that I can see.

hi Maci i'm sorry for you and other girls having a tough time with bookings. I'm thinking maybe you could have been making that salary back in the 2000s. I've read others say with the state of the economy there are a lot more girls nowadays and a lot less jobs and companies that do film scenes are shooting cheaper content and using a much smaller selection of girls. I think many stars of the past might have a difficult time getting a look in nowadays. I think Kalina Ryu had a tough time when she first moved to LA too
It seems its more a part time or casual job nowadays if you are able to find another job to keep you going. I hope you can continue - you are very pretty!

Maci.. you are venting here and that isn't so bad... you have some fans which is something to be thankful for considering you only have put out 13 scenes with minimal exposure. YOu can always PM myself or some of your other supporters if you need to vent.... that may be a better way than letting it rip on twitter... a lot of us are just regular people who not only enjoy porn but have some fun following the behind the scenes stuff.
As for your other comments..... well, they are axioms of porn life... you are not alone.... recruiters promise impossible earnings (hoping to get laid in the process), they mislead and exploit the girls, nobody is there to help you and nobody gives a shit, and everyone is self absorbed...... you have described porn my friend!
It is no consellation I know... but you are not alone, there are hundreds of girls a year that go through what you did..... getting a few scenes then making less than someone at McD's on a long term basis until they quit. There just is not enough scenes to go around anymore.
I think we can all agree, if this is 2004 you are one of the workhorses of the industry (say on a Kelly Wells level), and do about 500 scenes in 4 years. This just is not a great era to make a fortune in porn . I can assure you that even the big name girls are needing to use their brand ot make money in other areas.. porn scenes on their own are not making any women rich at this stage.
Those of us who are in your thread appreciate your candor.... it is nice to hear what you have to say.

Thanks for your support guys :) It really does make my time in the industry seem worth it- at least I contributed in some small portion to the happiness of my fans.
As to why I'm not allowed in the club, I have a few speculations...
A. Shitty Florida agents- Bella from ASM and Brian from AMA really screwed it up for me. Bella by having me in her "model house" for two weeks not doing anything or getting me any shoots, and Brian by pushing me into doing street blowjobs, a kill scene for Reality Kings where they put all the rejects they don't want to shoot into by giving them one compulsory scene (after all these girls are basically giving them free content and wanting to shoot porn) that doesn't get released for months, if ever (mine still hasn't been released, I shot it last May). Also Brian pressured me into doing a hardcore gangbang scene for Kink.com during which I gave up my first anal, DP and IR all in one. (Although that scene wasn't until June 15th)
All while having to watch the other girls in the house go day after day and shoot with Reality Kings multiple times, Cheetah Lounge, Bangbros, Score Group, Levi Cash etc.
Again while I stayed in the house and did nothing except twiddle my fingers.
I came out to Los Angeles May 21st after Brian had me sign with 101 modeling. I stayed at Roberts house the first two nights and then he put me into a model house in van nuys. Which was actually one of the better experiences of the summer since the model house owner was picky about the girls he allowed to stay there and had rigged cameras all over the house to make sure the girls followed model house rules. There was never more than one other girl staying with me at a time.
101 initially got me a lot of work in June but then stopped getting me work in July. I had a feeling they were playing favorites and it was confirmed to me by other girls that had been with 101 before- they focus on the girls that get the most responses from their model blasts. The girls they have to work harder to push end up getting shafted for the "upper" half of the roster. 101 also did not pay me $500 from my first shoot I did out here, which was with ATK and cut me checks minus agency fees I had already paid them.
So I left 101 for the VIP Connect, recommended to me by Miles Long, the man who's house I had been staying at. Shy Love made me all sorts of promises that she'd be able to get me work if I cut my hair in layers and dyed it brown which I did so.
But then she left for Europe for months and left her agency in charge of a woman named Natalie, who was very snippy and rude to me whenever I asked her about getting me work. Long story short, she didn't get me anything except a "private" in vegas.
Fortunately, through the help of others I was able to shoot amateur clips stuff and make enough $ to survive.
Miles then decided he didn't want to run a model house anymore so Shy put me in a model house in Northridge where I had a terrible experience in being threatened on twitter by one of the girls already living there, a girl I had known in Florida named Maya, whom I didn't interact with much but she somehow decided she hated me.
At Brian's house back in florida this girl had physically attacked me so I was scared but the guy running the model house, Brad Hart convinced me to come anyway. The first 5 nights I stayed in the living room on the couch because there wasn't a space for me in one of the rooms. No privacy plus I still had to pay rent for living there, even though I wasn't able to make full use of the facilities.
It came to a head one day when I caught Maya giving Brad a BJ in the shared shower all us girls shared and I had to get the hell out of that house asap, was threatened by the owner of the house and had my stuff forcefully thrown out onto the street.
Luckily Campo House came to the rescue but I could only stay there 4 nights and then it was onto the next model house. Meanwhile, I was still trying to make ends meet and still shot clips stuff.
At this point I dropped VIP connect as my agent and tried finding another agency but none would have me. I was rejected by every single agency except for Foxxx models who only managed to get me one shoot with ATK before dropping me as well in Mid October.
I then signed with Black Rose. Their agency treated me the best by far, however didn't have many connects in Los Angeles so most of the work I got was out of state.
I shot for Private Society in Iowa and Facial Abuse in NJ.
I truly regret doing facial abuse because of how creepy the owner Ernie Rossi is. He literally tried to fuck me off camera and spent hours after the shoot trying to get me to take my clothes off in my hotel room.
Also the content material of me puking everywhere is just gross.
I've still managed to do clips stuff to this day and have found a place to live that isn't a model house. But rent is still $1000 a month for me.
My experience in porn hasn't been an easy one. There is a girl I knew back from Brian's Elena Koshka, who is an amazingly beautiful girl and has shot with Greg lansky at least twice because of how stunning she is.
She has the looks that I do not and was constantly shooting while I was in Florida. I still remember when she got off the plane though.
Girls like her have had it much easier because they don't have half sleeve tattoos and have gorgeous glam features. I hate comparing myself to her but she started after I did and is "in the club" so to speak.
I've had more of an uphill battle and struggle.
Truly, I wish Greg Lansky would shoot me but it will never happen because I don't have the "Lansky look". I wish more mainstream companies would shoot me but I am neither "Barely legal" nor milf. I don't have huge boobs, or bare skin, or a glam face.
Yes girls like Bonnie rotten have defied the status quo by there is no one like her to vouch for us tattooed girls anymore except perhaps Joanna Angel.
And the funny thing is, I'm not even all that tattooed. I have a big thing on my arm and that's about it.
But I digress.
I tell my story because I truly feel it needs to be heard.
I don't want me or anyone else to have to suffer in silence anymore.
To put a smile on twitter when we know full well the industry is rotting from the inside out.
We don't want to make this a lifetime career- all we want is to make a lot of money in a short period of time so we can save it up for when we leave the industry to start our real careers.
The porn industry has lied to us and told us we're not good enough.
I want to prove them wrong.

Best of luck maci. Saw you in a few scenes and you are great and beautiful. Think I first saw you on jesse loads and did an anal and facial. Very impressed. Hard to believe it's tough for such a talented and hot girl to get work. Especially with all the stuff willing to do. Not much into festish stuff, but figure it give you a bigger window to work in. Hope to see you in lots more stuff

You know, with all the stuff you have learned, maybe becoming an agent yourself and showing girls how to do it right could be an option.

^ I don't think it's easy to become an agent, I would assume you need to have connections already.
And Maci, I can't pretend to have better advice than what others have already said but you seem like a genuinely good person and I wish you the best of luck in whatever the future brings.

^^^^^^I've seen your filmography at data18.com. It looks like you didn't get very good advice on what scenes to accept based on what you did. I don't know of any top current girl that's done transsexual or bisexual films. I think those scenes hurt your chances of working with top talent agencies and porn companies. You've been very aggressive it contacting people on Twitter and here for work. I'm sure that turned people off. No one wants a desperate performer on their set or in their agency. You also have related some history in this thread, Twitter, and xbiz about performers and agencies. Many of what you have said isn't 'flattering. I can't imagine that is winning you friends. That coupled with the very competitive environment and what they are typically looking for physically in a performer makes your situation challenging.
I still think your best bet is a clip site if you are still determined to be a sex worker. You don't have to look like a model to be successful. You have to cater to a fetish that people are interested in. If you have a laptop with a camera, high speed internet access, a place to perform, and imagination, then you can create a clip studio at clips4sale. Stop worry about things like editing. Just upload rough content. Take a look at the top studios at clips4sale and start uploading rough content. Do that while you look for a 9-5 job.

A lot of prolific performers from the last few years have done a TS scene. As for Bi Films, you are correct in that it just doesn't happen.
I know years ago the "straight" porn industry was massively phobic towards TS porn (just ask that Christian fellow about that). It see ms to be more accepted these days and the list of active performers who have worked in a TS scene is increasing. The Bi stuff may still be a red flag because the bi performer males also do gay porn and there are HIV positive performers over there that scares people (even if the guys in the bi scenes pass tests and use condoms).
I don't think there is any simple answer....... we can make "reasons" like tatoos, or body, or TS, or BI, or twitter rants, or overly aggressive pestering..... the bottom line is for every girl that "makes it" , there are 100 that do a few scenes and don't get more work and quit. So she just fell into that numbers game. What we also know, is Maci's experience of how she was treated by agents and various parasites in the industry is very common and one of the reasons porn is so tough. 10 to 12 years ago the problems were masked because there were scenes available by the truckload and anyone who was willing to do anal, dps, was going to get 25+ scenes a month just for showing up. With the work harder to come by, these problems come to the forefront.
What I hope for Maci, is she can get past blaming herself or what she looks like and can have the esteem to know she is a beautiful young woman. Porn will chew you up and spit you out.

In the history of Adult, performers have rarely had it easy. Even when money and work was plentiful.
A lot of them managed to make it look so, but behind the cameras was a different story.

I think there is a simple answer. Look at what the main stream studios have been churning out the last few years. They're shooting the exact same scenes over and over, the only difference is the talent, only more and more that's not even accurate because the girls all have exactly the same look. Petite, pale skin, long limp straight hair. A few manage to break the mold, but most end up with this exact look. If a girl has short hair they make her wear extensions. I've terminated all my memberships because I'm tired of paying for the same scenes over and over. The industry is currently stagnant and risk averse, and unfortunately I don't see that changing. We need a new studio with a fresh outlook to break the mold.
Best of luck to you Maci, I really liked what I saw of you!

^ well a porn company will do what sells the best ,they want to make money thats pretty simple.
weird in Maci her case is ,that companies like Bangbros,NaughtyAmerica or Reality Kings for example who release a lot a scenes a week ,not book her too,as they book a whole lot of variety of girls ,with tattoos as well. She would be also a great fit for LeWood their stuff.

I did shoot a scene for Lewood in anal brats 3.
As far as the other companies go- I have no idea. It might just be poor representation.

That was a good scene. I am not a big fan of Mark Wood, although his wife is a legend in the business and impossible to resist... hah
I think for you, you need to consider grabbing your future and taking other ventures. Banging your head against the glass ceiling is not getting you anywhere. You have plenty going for you, and the drive to do it. I hope you can take some of the various ideas people have given you and consider ways to make money with your beautiful looks, charisma, and sexual talent. Whatever reason you are hitting the all with porn scenes, it is unlikely to change too much at this stage. THere are many more doors for you.

Hey Maci, saw the anal brats scene and it was great. All the girls were but you and Alice March stole the movie. You both have the girl next door vibe. But you have the more fun and naught while Alice was she and proper haha. Really good anal scene with a nice swallow you seemed to like. Working for lewood should certainly get you noticed. It sucks that you can't get some more main stream work.
I agree producers are putting out a lot of stuff they like. The competition must be hard with the online market. People want to see newbies on screen, no matter overall looks and age. Think it's really hard to get contract work. Either be really popular and know people. Lot of sites on the internet might not be big production companies but put out a lot of content. Pay might not be good but it's something.
I hope you continue to do more scenes as I think your amazing and hot and look forward to them. Just hope it all works out for you with what you ultimately decide.

Might not be everyone's cup of tea on the forum, But Maci you'd go down a storm working for Legalporno and they aren't exactly mainstream, Only problem is they are in Prague, You should hit up Proxy Paige @infiltrateproxy on Twitter she's American but shoots/directs for Gonzo on Legalporno its worth a shot
