You don't hear people talking about how others smell because its 2021 and most people take basic hygiene for granted. I mean, at no point do I walk into work and say, "hey everyone, thanks for getting washed today!" Whereas, if someone stinks and coworkers complain, it has to be addressed.
Nothing like an allegation against a male performer and the mention of the imbalance of power in the industry/world in favor of men to bring out the #notallmen crowd.

There is drug use and alcoholism and for any addict, personal care is typically the first consideration they lose. Half the industry is smoked out, which is now legal in California, but at the end of the day, everyone isn't thinking clearly and the only way to protect yourself is to be a clear thinker, speak out when you see the potential for harm and refuse to work with anyone of a questionable nature.
You have too mush at risk in the adult industry to not be completely concerned about your health and the health of those you choose to perform with. A valid drug test doesn't mean you are physically clean, sober or mentally stable.
I don't disagree with anything you wrote. I just find it funny(in an ironic way) that we are discussing personal hygiene in an industry where performers are pressured to have unprotected sex with each other.
