But she's long gone. Her appearances in those 2006 releases are old scenes.
For example, she's listed on the cover of Virgin Patrol 2 released 2006, but the scene is from Just My Ass Please 1 shot in 2003.

| BrekkyDJ Member Australia 246 Posts 10/06 | G'day everyone. First post here - seems like a nice place :) This is a two part question... Part One - as per the subject heading, does anyone know what agency represented Maggie Star (who was she signed with)? Part Two - Following on another post made by Peter1, there was Maggie Star footage released this year on "It's my party 3" - was this cutting room floor stuff found from 2003 or has she returned... though I find her coming out of retirement unlikely. Cheers and hope you guys (and gals) can help. BrekkyDJ (from Melbourne, Australia) [Link] |

Now Maggie Star was one of my fav performers and I thought about making a "Maggie Star" website. I didn't just want to make a tribute site, I thought about doing the whole hog, making deals with website that stream her videos to provide links/material, etc... If for example we made it a paid website (or pay only to view material supplied by other sites) I would expect to seek Maggie's approval, and possibly she gets a cut of the profits. Now again, this is a long-term project, and it might never get up, but if I did get the ball rolling (or someone else came along to help) I thought out of respect I could contact her agency, they contact her to seek permission in her name being used and a website being created for her. If she says no, well it all stops. If she says yes, she may want involvement in the project, well we work from there. By me finding out her former Agency, it keeps a safe buffer between her and her fans. So instead of me a complete stranger calling her, we go through her agency, with them acting as a "Middle Man". Going through an agency is all about respecting the performer's privacy. You see in the future I would also like to do a website on a very well-known performer "Raylene". Word has it that she works in real estate, with my radio journalism skills I could most likely track her down in less than a week BUT I don't want to do that - invasion of privacy there. I would again, seek out her former agency and get them to act as a "middle man" to pass on the message. Will the websites for Maggie Star or Raylene ever get up - don't know, my website making skills are in the learning stage, but I'm full of ideas on how it should work, but if there is someone out there that's good at it and would be willing to help for "the love of it" (maybe one day we might actually make something!) then I'd love to hear from them. Hope that helps explain why... BrekkyDJ (in Melbourne, Australia) |
