Erotic Memoirs of a Male Chauvinist Pig, The (Platinum Elite)

Nearly a year and a half after it was first announced, Ray Hoersch' fascinating mixture of schizophrenic underground film and XXX, THE EROTIC MEMOIRS OF A MALE CHAUVINIST PIG (1973) is finally making its DVD debut from Distribpix.
I first saw PIG around a year ago and was completely blown away. It's a film that kinda defies logic at times but works as a brilliant example of how far filmmakers in the early 70's were willing to push the boundaries of X rated movies to create truly unique works of art.
The DVD is sourced from a new HD transfer from the negative and features an excellent liner notes booklet as well as the theatrical trailer and a brief interview with supporting actress Georgina Spelvin.
Also included is the oddball short film, BOX BALL from 1977. Boundary pushing in its own way (good taste in this case), BOX BALL is another example of the type of filmmaking freedom that was so prevalent throughout the 70s.
