I have read somewhere that he hails from Germany. Maybe he is one of the many Turkish immigrants in Germany, hence his name Hakan. Maybe he is East European, or even from the Balkan? Who knows? I do know that Hakan was one of the actors that was most in demand in Europe in the latter part of the 90's. For a while he was groomed as the next Rocco Siffredi, particularly during the shooting of Torero . In many European productions, especially Italian features, Hakan had the lead male role. However, he was definitely not a good actor. Check out his bad acting in Rudolph Valentino, American Lover . As a performer however, he really left his mark in the years 1995-1997. Even though his acting was very bad, he still managed to bring his own seuxal allure to his role of Valentino. His prowess as a perfomer also lead to his many appearances in Seymore Butts videos at the time. I guess he was also in demand by the porn girls themselves. It was Hakan who was the first to get into a relationship with Silvia Saint, very early in her career in 1997-1998. They did some very good scenes together. I think that their breakup was just the beginning for Silvia, while it more or less was the end for Hakan. In 1999, he seemed to have vanished from the planet of porn. In 2000, he returned in a couple of Rocco flicks - Rocco Animal Trainer 4 , Rocco True Anal Stories 13 , Rocco Initiations 3 , Rocco Invades Poland , as well as in Face Dance Obsession - but I guess the real drive was gone. iirc, he looked very disinterested and blasé in one of the Rocco flicks mentioned above. The fact that he has yet again disappeared, also makes me think his heart wasn't in it any more. Here are some pictures for the ladies. Hakan really was the perennial Abercrombie & Fitch-like pretty boy but unfortunately not many of his movies are available in france. I do have fond memories of "Rudolf Valentino", though, wasn't that directed by D'Amato ? He was almost in every scene, and there was especially one great anal scene with (I think) Kaitlyn Ashley. I once wrote him an email asking what he thought his best video was, and he replied that it was the one about Rudy Valentino (I guess he meant the sex and not the acting...and yes, it was a Joe D'Amato film). He is one of the few straight male porn stars who acknowledges all his fans, female or male, gay or straight. I think he left the video business to start a website, but I'm not sure how successful that has been (under the name Hakan Dan). One of these was again for Seymore, when they met up at a festival in Brussels, and Hakan got to have his way with Alisha Klass and McKayla Matthews. And he is also in Ass Quest 3 from 2001.
